Santo Mare is born from our idea of rediscovering and offering on our table in London the true Italian seafood cuisine and its tastes.

For this reason, we sail every day through the Tyrrhenian Sea, with our fishing boats back in Italy, to catch the best quality food. We then ship daily the fruits of our efforts to London and provide our clients with the chance to live an authentic experience.

If you’ve been there before you know what to order and what not. The sea food risotto is great and so is the pistachio ice cream.

I had to protest because it was a very rainy day, and the waiter, without asking for my permission, was seating a wet, hairy dog next to me. In a high-end restaurant, one expects that before seating a dog next to a customer, especially one eating fish, the courtesy of asking if it would be a problem or if there are any allergies should be observed. Unfortunately, the waiter did not do this, and I had to oppose having the dog seated next to me. This is not acceptable.

Cibo buonissimo come sempre ma servizio deludente ieri sera. Siamo stati completamente abbandonati dal nostro cameriere per 40 minuti post primo. Abbiamo dovuto noi chiedere il menù per i dolci. Altri 40 minuti. Finalmente torna a prendere la nostra ordinazione, arriva il dolce e…altri 40 minuti per sparecchiarci la tavola e chiederci se volevamo un caffè. Tutto ok? E dovrei pagare la service charge? Non ci siamo visti i prezzi del locale e vista l’atmosfera chic/lusso con cui si posizionano. Torneremo per il cibo che è davvero ottimo ma devono rivedere i loro camerieri più giovani che non hanno gran voglia di lavorare

Food was good as usual but waited 2hrs to be served. Received mains before pasta. Service was genuinely awful - a lot of people with no reservations who got served swiftly just because they know a member of the staff..

I left my phone in the restaurant and returned some 10 minutes later to reclaim. The restaurant claimed no knowledge of a phone left behind. The Find My app insisted that the phone was still in the restaurant. The next day the phone was miles away. In any event, we will not return to the restaurant.
