Nestled in the charm and elegance of one of Santa Fe's most beloved historical homes, Santacafé has been a restaurant icon for over 40 years. It was bought in 2019 by Santa Fe restauranteur Quinn Stephenson - the driving force behind another Santa Fe legend, Coyote Café. Boasting one of the best outdoor patio dining experiences the City Different has to offer, Santacafé combines the traditions of modern American cooking with exquisitely locally sourced ingredients.

We are Santafeans, but this was our first visit to Santacafé. We were impressed. In our experiences, the restaurant ranked right up there with Sazon and NOSA. Mushroom soup, fig and apple salad, pork dumplings, and rack of lamb were all excellent. Very nice atmosphere; there was a big birthday party with a few kids in the next room, and we didn’t hear much because of the 3” adobe walls. Very nice.

We had a wonderful lunch with family visiting from out of town. We really appreciated the staff’s hospitality, great food, and caring toward our kids. We will definitely be back!

It’s always wonderful! Not only the food is perfect every time, you know exactly what to expect, but service is consistently top notch. It’s my favorite lunch spot in town

The four of us were surprised and disappointed that the menu doesn’t offer fish besides scallops. Joshua is always pleasant.

The food was excellent, beautifully presented, the ambience lovely, the service could not have been better BUT with the VERY noisy table of five/six immediately next to us we could not hear ourselves think. They finally left about three quarters of the way through the meal so we could then really enjoy all.

The dumplings were great. The mushroom soup was ok but the portion was laughable. The panna cotta was frozen and didn’t taste right. I’ve had much better meals there in the past.

As always a long lunch at SantaCafe was a complete treat. Wonderful food and superior service.Now so beautifully decorated for the holidays, it was extra special.

The food was excellent! Beautifully prepared and presented. The service was also excellent - attentive without hovering. The noise level could be a problem if the restaurant was at capacity because the tables are close together but this was not an issue for us. We would definitely go back the next time we are in Santa Fe.
