    We had a fabulous mean at Sanremo. The cabonaro was outstanding.

    Restaurant is pleasant and open. There is lots of room for large parties. Service was friendly. The appetizers were fine but nothing special. Our mains were ok, but again, nothing special.

    A beautiful restaurant with an excellent menu to suit all tastes. The staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. A lovely meal - we will definitely be back.

    Lovely new independent Italian in the city centre. We love to support independent businesses and use cash where possible so thrilled to do both of these. Disabled friendly restaurant and just lush. I have life threatening food allergies and I felt very cared for. The calamari to start was well cooked, and we had a mixture of pizza and spaghetti carbonara for our mains. Again, both lovely. Only thing I wouldn’t write home about was the bacon in the carbonara as this was over cooked and far too crispy. The carbonara was also very full on with the sauce, but it was lovely and the fresh pasta was delicious. Drinks wise, came in clean glassware. The sparkling rose was personally a bit too full on the tannins but it was cold and fresh. My partner had a soft drink. The table setting was lovely, a nice little lamp and beautiful cutlery. Our waitress Jenny was a friendly character and she made our experience very special, gifting us a dessert to celebrate our anniversary. It had happy anniversary written in chocolate sauce on the white plate and she double checked my food allergies to ensure I could safely eat this. The overall bill came to just short of £90, and we didn’t pay the service charge as this goes to all the team and we’d rather tip our individual waitress. It was a lovely ambiance and experience, and all the staff seemed very happy to be at work, which is a sign of a healthy workplace.
