Sandringham is the much-loved Country Retreat of Her Majesty the Queen and has been the private home of four generations of British Monarchs since 1862.

Nestled in the Courtyard, the Sandringham Restaurant is surrounded by 243 hectares of Royal Parkland and is open daily from 9.30am - 5pm for brunch, lunch and sweet treats .

Enjoy a range of dishes, served all day, inspired by and sourced from the wider Sandringham Estate and local suppliers.

The Sandringham Estate Platter is a favourite offering a selection of locally sourced meats and cheeses, butcher’s special pork pie, Sandringham chutneys and mixed leaf served with a selection of breads.
Desserts and cakes all made by our team on site alongside hot drinks or enjoy a Sandringham Beer and Gin and children's menu's are available.

A local bus service - bus number 35 stops in the Royal Parkland from King's Lynn Bus Station or from or from Hunstanton.Bike racks are located in the Courtyard however we do not have facilities to take bags and luggage.

No welcome after kept waiting after arrival, only asked if we had booked, no hello or follow me to your table etc . . No communication from waitress. Drinks placed on table without a word. Absoulty no effort put in from the waitress. Looking around the resturant seems we pulled the short straw as all other staff looked happy, friendly and where interacting with customers. We had planned to stay for dessert but couldnt get out quick enough. We asked if she was new which would account for the look of wanting to be anywhere else but here and lack of communication and interaction, but nope. Food was nice however not the quality I would of expected but service totally ruined our experience

Brought my mum as a treat while holidaying in the area. We were greeted with a warm and happy welcome and given a choice of seats. Service was excellent throughout and the servers answered all our questions. Food was out of this world using local ingredients. We will be back when the palace is open and will definitely book a table at the restaurant again.

Staff prioritised clearing tables to taking away our dishes and taking further orders. Although we like leisurely eating, it took 2 hours to have lunch. Inexperienced staff maybe. The place was virtually empty too.

The restaurant is really nice. Sunday they do a roast but this is not advertised. The only problem is the service is shocking. They need more staff.

This is the second time I have been here. The first visit was booked through open table. On arrival and showing them my confirmation they didn’t have my booking on their list. They had to quickly find us a table for five while we waited. I booked a table for two the second time. However this time we were shown to the table our order was taken and drinks arrived . Unfortunately an hour later our food order still had not arrived. Trying to get a member of staffs attention was a feat in itself. Eventually a young girl came over , she made no apology or explanation and was rude to be honest. The original waitress came next who was very apologetic, and explained that our order had been missed in the kitchen and that they had got double booked tables and two large parties. She got the situation sorted very quickly and was polite and professional . We were only charged for one meal which was very much appreciated under the circumstances. I am a regular visitor to Sandringham so will probably attempt another visit to the restaurant but expect better organisation , and with the exception of the waitress who sorted us out, some staff members need to improve their customer service skills.

We really enjoyed our meal at Sandringham restaurant. The food was really delicious. The atmosphere pleasant and service was good. We would have liked a few more choices on the menu, but realise these are difficult times. Thank you.

A very pleasant experience. Would prefer a wider variety of main courses. The hand sanitiser was very strong smelling and slightly spoiled the taste of the food during to the smell.

Food is delicious and coffee is the best. Service was fast and helpful. It’s not the cheapest but worth it.
