The sushi is delicious 😋. The bao buns are good but the breading was a bit cold and too thick. We shared one with the breading and ate the others without the breading

Sandfish is a solid 4 stars. We always have a great meal and I appreciate that we try something new each visit. If you can, sit at the bar and order the chefs tour. The whiskey selection is huge so have the bartender mix your cocktail, sit back, and enjoy the journey of flavor and delicious sushi. Sandfish always has fresh fish and high quality meats. Last night our server was Katie and she is awesome! Very attentive and had some good suggestions on sake choices. I look forward to trying location in Palm Springs!

First time here, definitely enjoyed the service! Our waiter was was super knowledgeable with his recommendations and was able to walk us through the menu. Our favorites were the tuna tostadas and the sandfish roll. Drinks were just as great- Freya, Brumosa and old fashioned were very much enjoyed! Will definitely be back soon.

First time at Sandfish and very impressed.. their Sunset hour is amazing with many options and tasty rolls, their gyoza is die for! The staff was great, with solid roll recommendations and tasting notes for the whiskey.

The food is lackluster and for the price they’re charging it’s beyond absurd. There is no difference in the quality of fish between this place and an all you can eat sushi place. We ordered several rolls and nigiri pieces and none of us enjoyed anything on the table. We were looking forward to the duck buns but the bun was soggy, and the filling was overpowered by salt and cabbage. I had to send the scallop back because it tasted bitter. They comped me free mochi ice cream, but we couldn’t even finish that because it tasted like it had been in the freezer for longer than it should have. The skin of the mochi was hard. Even if they gave me a gift card to return to this restaurant I wouldn’t. That’s how bad it was.

Perfect date spot. Ambiance is clean and warm with natural textures. Enjoyed every bit of the meal and service. Salmon Skin Hand Roll had the airiest crisp bits. I wish we had ordered two! Baby Langoustine roll was the highlight of the meal. Generous portion of lobster covers the roll. Our server was attentive and gracious, offering us complimentary cucumber and seaweed salads as he felt we may have waited a bit long for a roll. We were enjoying our meal items and cocktails so much that we did not perceive any delays but we happily accepted the salads. 10/10 will be back again!

Our server was so submissive that he could hardly verbalize the specials. The food was very overpriced. One of the rolls was so bad that my daughter spit it into her napkin, and she can eat almost anything!
