    The quality and freshness of the fish was great. The other component of sushi is rice and at this price point it should have been much better. A couple of years ago this place must have employed a much better sushi rice maker, but since then the rice is not bad but not good enough. The fish is good enough to get customers to return. The service is very good.

    The menu was intriguing and our server Josh was extremely helpful in his explanations and recommendations. The food was excellent and the service impeccable! Highly recommend!

    This was the worst meal I’ve had in years. I’ve never been to a sushi restaurant and had the rice be awful and undercooked - then I order the bao and it was also completely undercooked and inedible. And the place is SO expensive - super disappointing.

    Excellent ingredients interestingly prepared with fun and delicious specialty cocktails. Service was warm but overwhelmed, and our table beside the bar was made uncomfortable by the constant traffic. While not cheap, the quality makes Sandfish feel like good value. I do wish it were quieter.

    Excellent in every way. The chefs tasting menu was simply amazing and we had incredible service sitting at the bar from the bartender. An unforgettable meal, from my husband who isn’t as much of a sushi fan as I am. Just go!

    Stupendous sushi and service!!! Deep fried oysters, a new addition to the menu, were scrumptious. Loved the Scandinavian roll. Will be back!!!
