Food was great. Drinks took probably 15+ minutes to arrive & ordering was slow - server seemed distracted & maybe we were forgot at some point? We were not made aware of the 20% service charge for our party’s size. I have 0 issue with the policy of auto grat for parties of a certain size - it’s completely reasonable - and also I find it rude it feels sneaky when there is no mention/heads up from the server.

This is the best sushi in Palm Springs…what else can be said? Great ambience, friendly staff, and always a top notch dining experience.

Best sushi I've ever had! We come to Palm Springs from San Diego to eat here! The Koko roll is the best blend of all the flavors! Sweet and spicy! Everybody is super nice! Make reservations far in advance if you want to sit indoors.

Fabulous, as usual. We had an old fashioned, the omakase cocktail experience (custom made with your choice of spirit and flavor profiles - so fun!), and two rolls plus a spicy edamame to start. Every sip and bite was delish.

If you want attitude in the desert, they win!!! The lady who greeeted us is so rude, does not smile and thinks she is doing you a favor by helping you. The food is good and innovative but this place give too much attitude for us. Every time is the same and I don’t need NYC attitude in Palm Springs! Never going back!!!

We enjoyed our food at SandFish, we’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it as well. The problem is the restaurant is not very cool inside. It was quite uncomfortable when the sun came through the windows and was shining on my husband’s face. We arrived a little before 5 PM and it was quite warm inside. They open at 4:30 so maybe they need more time to cool down the restaurant? Our Sapporo was also on the warm side and the chilled glasses were not very chilled. The chicken gyoza, Venue Roll and Albacore Tataki was really good. The salmon sashimi was 8 very thin pieces for $29 which seemed overpriced for the amount of fish. The service was good and friendly. We ordered another bottle of Sapporo ($15 per bottle) but the server did not bring us fresh chilled glasses. Overall, the food is good but the drinks and food are overpriced.
