The service is excellent. I been a customers for years at the San Pedro location. I decided to try the restaurant in Long Beach this time since the San Pedro location no longer has one. The food quality is not the same from years back. for the price I was expecting bigger shrimp, more potatoes and veggies. The clam chowder was cold and super thick not good at all. Other than that I loved the place.

Chowder was salty and the lobster tail had barely and meat in it. For the price you pay you should get some lobster not all skeleton

The food was really good. But the only problem I had was when I reserved an outdoor table for 10 and 24 hours ahead a time that's what I was hoping to get.

Upon arrival I was told there was an hour wait. After waiting 20 mins I over heard the waitress tell another party they was a long walk in wait time but if they made a reservation online they could be seated immediately. So I followed the overheard instructions and did the same and was seating immediately. We were seated up stairs and the server came over and took our drink and food order and we didn’t see her again until we were ready to go! Another waiter brought our food out and when we requested utensils he advised he didn’t have any and would return … he never did. Trying to be patient we waiting about 5 mins to ask a server for the manager whom was able to locate some and advise that they were behind on dishes. By the time we got utensils the shrimp tray we order was cold and not wanting to continue to complain we just took the food to go.

The sauce and spices were good on the pre made trays but I did not like the mussels nor calamari. The included lobster was small. Probably start with the shrimp tray then build on it by adding fried fish, fried calamari and maybe a bigger lobster. The shrimp is small but flavourful. Sunday parking around noon is a bit crowded because there is a farmer’s market which share the lot. Reservations recommended.

Shared the grilled shrimp tray with my husband and parents for a birthday celebration. It’s great to sit by the window looking at the boats in the marina. Food was delicious and very generous - we took home leftovers. The tray comes with potatoes onions peppers tomatoes & garlic bread. We added scallops. Service was good especially since they were very busy. They brought me a slice of chocolate cake for my birthday which we all shared. Rich & delicious.
