When we were growing up, we shared a passion for simple, honest food. In 1996 Mike acted on this passion and opened the first Sammy J’s in Langley City. Steve joined later in 2010. After almost 20 years in the business our food and restaurants continue to evolve but our values remain the same: we’re just regular guys who believe in putting the heart and soul back into the restaurant business. We serve great food using fresh, local ingredients and make sure every bite bursts with flavor.

We had a great time. The server was very nice and knew her stuff. She was attentive to her guests. The food was delicious! Had a few appetizers and some mains. It was great! Worth going ☺️

Hi. Was there with my wife. They sat us at a table literally right beside another table of two. Had to shuffle our table and chairs over so we had any privacy. The service was ok. The major thing was the noise which was like being at a hockey or football stadium. Talking was difficult. I realize that's kind of how restraunts are set up now but it's not for us. We enjoyed happy pricing and both price and quality of food was good. Not for us but probably appealing to the younger crowd.

Service was excellent but the music was to loud for conversation with our foursome group. Not very romantic music for a Valentine’s Day dinner. ❤️🌹

This is a great spot to enjoy a meal. We love the Happy Hour. The food and the service is always good. The dining room is always quiet and it can fit large groups.

Easy access, plenty of parking. Nice atmosphere in the front section, with bar-type seating and tables too. For groups there's a dining room at the rear. We had reserved in that dining room for party of 5 visiting from out of province; that was quiet and private when we went (1-2pm). Menu is varied, many choices. Food was well presented and good tasting. Service was very good. Prices reasonable.

I got extremely stomach sick after eatting the beef dip so…..not good.

Hi JoniS, Thank you for your visit and please accept our apologies for the situation you encountered. When talking about food safety / handling, please know that we are taking all proper measures and procedures as per Public Health. In this case, the beef short rib gets braised every morning as we sell quite a bit of it and rather make it fresh for a better taste. Again, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience you experienced.
