Mandy Yin is one of the few Malaysian chef/owners in the UK, having founded Sambal Shiok in London in 2013. She is a Malaysian-born Chinese of Peranakan Nyonya heritage. "I take inspiration from everything I ate in my childhood growing up in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Then I mix it up and put a new slant on it.

Food was very overpriced and not worth it at all. Flavours were lacking and a bit too sweet. Much better Malaysians elsewhere, and not as good as the reviews have said

Delicious food and friendly staff. Missing holidays to Penang and Langkawi so this is a lovely culinary reminder.

Tasty Malaysian curry with meat, sea food, vegetarian and vegan options which can all be customised to suit spiciness and with optional extras. Served moderate or spicy and always delicious! Courteous friendly service in a cafe style atmosphere.

My friend was running late and the staff could not have been nicer about it, so friendly and accommodating. To top it all off the food was delicious - I highly recommend the prawns in tomato sambal and the potato curry puffs.
