Sam Miranda had a visionary plan for his ‘Field to Fork’ Produce Garden which was inspired by his childhood. He wanted to not only produce premium varietal wine but also bring a touch of home to the winery restaurant. Remembering back when he handpicked vegetables with his father, Pop Miranda and helped make fresh mouthwatering traditional Italian dishes. Sam has created a holistic sustainable produce garden, including herbs and fruit trees which he has integrated with local resources, such as irrigation water which comes from our local King River to assist with producing the best harvest for the restaurant.

Taste award-winning wines and enjoy a relaxed wine tasting experience at our Cellar Door. The cost is **$15 per person, from a set list of 9 wines, including Prosecco. They are a standing Tasting at the Tasting Bench in our Cellar Door. Please allow approx. 30-45 minutes for your tasting. Please keep this in mind if you are also wishing to join us for lunch. Lunch reservations require a separate booking. **An individual’s tasting fee is redeemable upon purchase of a dozen wines.

Although not a big menu, it is always well executed and presented, very tasty! Staff are friendly and smiling, and some lovely wines too!

Great lunch. Had $80 platter for 2. Calamari really nice. Plenty of food for us both. Really enjoyed it.

Sam Miranda Wines was outstanding. Loved the food and the king of King Valley Prosecco delivers a nice drop. Friendly, attentive staff also a delight. Thank you🙏

Saturday sunny afternoon - lovely setting under trees & looking over garden. Platters worthwhile & delicious - platters for 2 would easily feed 3 or arrive v hungry!! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Always an enjoyable lunch experience at Sam Miranda winery. The calamari is absolute the best. The Pino Grigio is a great drop. Looking forward to our next visit.

Another wonderful lunch at Sam Miranda! We sat outside on the beautiful garden patio. The staff were delightfully friendly. I had the fried calamari and it was outstanding. My mother-in-law said her steak sandwich was superbly flavourful. Meals were a generous size. Many lovely wines to choose to have with lunch by the glass or bottle. And lower prices than closer to Melbourne.

We recently visited on the Easter long weekend and had the best experience at Sam Miranda. We missed our booking due to traffic and the team were so accommodating. The staff are so personable and friendly and the food was fantastic. Great value, a great atmosphere with music on the patio and plenty of space to have our toddler explore without feeling like we were bothering any other guests.

Make sure you plan on at least a two hour wait for mains. Don’t have anything else planned for the day as the lunch time will go past afternoon teatime Our wait person was personable, but run off her feet. Of the four dishes of calamari, one was so salty, it was difficult to eat, but as we had waited 1 3/4 hours for it and had to leave, we did not send back. Disappointing as we had booked so far ahead of time for our anniversary special lunch, and it made no difference as obviously they had not enough staff in kitchen and waiting tables to handle the bookings. It will be a long time for me to travel an hour again to go to this restaurant. Such a shame too.
