A short walk from Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington station, Salut! offers a relaxed take on modern-European food.     The food, wine, ambiance, and service were spot on- a wonderful evening!! Thank you to Victor, for creating an amazing meal - and Elton for guiding us and being so attentive- you guys made us feel special - thank you - can’t wait to return - a must when in Islington!

    Excellent and cozy little restaurant with open kitchen. Always a friendly welcome when entering and amazing service with a smile and great sense of humour. We’ve always had the same amazing guy serving us. Food is well made and beautifully presented and the taste is amazing. And that goes for the starters, mains and desserts . Atmosphere is great. Got zero negatives here which is unusual for me ! 10/10

    Finally made it here for dinner ! Lovely food and lovely place ( and it’s our local which is such a bonus !) Elton was wonderful too - thank you - we will definitely be back !

    Salut is our go to place for a treat. We live nearby so it’s nice and easy and the team is brilliant. They look after you very well in their intimate restaurant and the food is excellent. Their homemade Amaretto sours are so moorish! Food is cooked right before your eyes by expert chefs and is always delicious and carefully curated. It’s a very special London restaurant. Cannot recommend highly enough.

    Really enjoyed the diner at Salut. The food is very nice and in good proportion. Friendly staff. I booked there for a birthday. They surprised us with a cake and candle at the end! Highly recommend 🙂

    We had a delicious Sunday lunch. Perfect Pork Belly with fluffy Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables, crispy duck fat potatoes and rich gravy. Good wine list if a little on the pricey side. Not much choice for a beer. Only in cans which could be improved. Very friendly service and the chef is in front cooking all the food which adds to the desperation to have yours served.

    This is a terrific restaurant. The service is super friendly and the cooking is fabulously consistent. We are regular returners and can’t recommend it highly enough.
