Salumeria 104 is a rustic, trattoria-style restaurant serving signature salumi dishes (artisan Italian cured meats) and traditional, house made Italian classics prepared with the finest, freshest ingredients.

Chef & Co-Owner Angelo Masarin is intent on creating dishes inspired by his childhood, such as the ones his grandmother taught him. The menu focuses on seasonal ingredients as well as a variety of imported salumi that is exclusive to Salumeria 104 to dine in or purchase by the pound.

The branzino with grilled asparagus was fresh and delicious. The chef, Giovanni, has turned this small restaurant into one of the best in the city. The lasagna was light and tasty. The Monday $12 pasta night is unbelievable. We always enjoy the almond cake with a scoop of gelato.

This has been one of my favorite Italian restaurants for years, until today. Service was good and awfully kind but sadly the food was subpar. The stuffed zucchini flowers were extremely oily, flavorless and served with tartar sauce which is not really “Italian”. I always eat the Vitello Tonnato since it is delicious, turns out that it was not available and I only found out last minute; this to me is unacceptable. The sautéd vongole appetizer was 3/10. Sadly we will not be going back.

Delicious comfort food, as well as inventive and simple pasta specials keep us coming back to see what’s new. Spinach pasta with truffle mushrooms and burrata was delicious. As is the ever present cacio e Pepe and eggplant parmesiano. Service is friendly, as always. Oh, and don’t miss the mortadella!

Considering the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes, you really get more than what you pay for. Highly recommended for those who want a quality meal at good price. Their charcuterie board is outstanding and spaghetti seafood are simply delicious. Looking forward to come back to this place.

We celebrated our friends birthday on a Saturday afternoon at Salumeria 104 in Coral Gables and it was a magnificent experience. The restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy. The service was impeccable. Our server, I think her name was Matilde was constantly come around to make sure we were ok, provided us with options from the menu and even asked if it was a special occasion that we were celebrating. She was on point with everything. Their Miami Spice menu was perfect for some of us, so a few of us went with that. The insalata bietola was delicious, it consists of beets, arugula, goat cheese, bresaola, black olives, toasted pistachio, lemon dressing. The carpaccion di manzo was also very good and presented so nicely. The Branzino was perfectly cooked broiled fillet, with a pistachio and asparagus cream, served with asparagus. The Taglietelle bolognese was delicious, the pasta is homemade and you can taste it! The fettuccini nere was delectable! Black ink fettuccine, wild caught shrimp, and pesto sauce. One ordered it with shrimp, the other without. Either way it was delicious. Dessert was their pistachio gelato which was also perfection! We enjoyed every single thing so much we asked for the chef to come to our table so we could personally thank and congratulate him for such an amazing job! Giancarlo came by our table a few times, which made the experience even more pleasurable, learning about his experience and knowledge. They have a nice wine selection as well. We will definitely be returning to Salumeria 104 and highly recommend it.
