A very nice experience sitting out on the deck. Great service, beautiful view (highly recommended especially for out of town guests).

If they noted it on their site I missed it, but Salty's is very accessible via the ferry from Seattle to west Seattle. Got it on the way back and it was easy peasy, very walkable from Salty's. The restaurant itself is comfortable, well laid out and almost any table has a view, which is nothing short of spectacular. We arrived at dusk and really enjoyed watching the city light up. The food is ok. We had the 1936 roll and the crab cake to start. The crab cake was lovely, but could have skipped the roll, too much cream cheese, nothing delicate about it. If you like that sort of thing, would recommend sharing it. I had the salmon stuffed with crab and it could have been good, but tasted processed and way over salted. My dining partner had the sable fish with shitake rice and she enjoyed it very much. Perfect cook on the fish, but the star really was the shitake rice. Service was outstanding and Jorge made our visit very special. He is a real pro and very helpful re the menu. Given its location Salty's is very special, if not just for the view. Would highly recommend the ferry to/from.

We had a fantastic meal at Salty’s last night. Every dish was superb. The ambience was great and that view of the city you can’t beat anywhere! Definitely a destination place for anyone visiting Seattle.

Retired 5 years ago after 35 years of constant business travel, our lunch on 7 Sept 2024 was top 3 all time and the very best in many years. We had the seafood chowder, 2 ounces of Dungeness crab cocktail and then the lobster roll. I had tasty raspberry lemonade and my wife had an excellent (and reasonably priced) vodka martini Chrissy was our outstanding server. Lunch was topped off with a delicious complementary dessert since it was our wedding anniversary. All food and service was fantastic. I’ve been to all the Salty’s several times. All were very good but this was the best ever.

What a wonderful evening! Often restaurants like this are considered tourist traps, but I have to say Saltys is worth it and not at all a tourist trap. The views are perfect, the staff is friendly and genuinely seem to want to be working. The craft cocktails are really good and the food was absolutely delicious. To make the whole experience better, you have to take the water taxi over from Pier 50.

I love the food and service. The view from the patio is outstanding.. I find it very annoying, however, when a service charge, clearly noted as not going to the employees, is tacked on to the bill. This is a cheap trick to make the prices look more reasonable on the menu. It makes me not want to go back.
