Most food was great but they forgot to bring out the appetizer. Eventually it came, after the main dish was served. They took it off the bill for us, but we felt rushed into the main course.

Enjoyed thie SDRW 3 course dinner! I ordered the crab cakes for my appetizer, salmon for my entree and tiramisu for dessert. Others in my party ordered the oysters, 16 oz steak, and limoncello. Additionally, we ordered sides (Parmesan fries and Brussels sprouts) and alcoholic beverages. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented! Our server Thomas was very attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was casually elegant, airy and bright with all the large windows. and it felt like we were aboard a cruise ship with the decor and portholes. Highly recommend this place!

Atmosphere is great and service is good, but food was rather bland and lacked any type of flavor. Food was nice to look at but could use some more interesting flavors.

Beautiful space to be in. Service was wonderful but the seafood itself was just ok. Three of the five had the Seabass, we all agreed it was good but not great. Steaks were very good though.

The sea bass dish was excellent, and is the reason I'm rating the food as high as I did. The "special", pistachio crusted cod, was awful. It had no pistachio crust and literally zero seasoning - not even salt. It was overcooked and literally made me sick (restroom was filthy, too.) The server did his best to take care of the issue by having it remade, but the result was burned pistachios and raw inside, as if they were using frozen fish and didn't defrost it before cooking. The lobster risotto was not risotto - it wasn't arborio rice and it was dry instead of creamy. The beignets were good, but other than the cool presentation, they were nothing special. I would probably go again and NOT get the daily special, because the sea bass dish gives me hope that their regular menu is worth a second shot.

Located at 5th and Market, this mid-range steak and seafood restaurant sits slightly higher in quality than many of its surrounding establishments. Great food, acceptable pricing; classic SD restaurant atmosphere. A cut above for the discerning Comicon attendee that fits just under the radar enough that you can probably get a table even if it's late in the day on Friday night.
