    Um, can I take the Chefs home!!? Everything about this experience was exceptional!! The service 10/10, the speed of food to table 10/10, the staff (even beside our waiter) 10/10! Our app, entree and dessert- 20/20!!

    Great place to go! We come every year for Christmas dinner. P.E.I. Mussels with beer and fennel broth, chorizo, white beans & kale, grilled focaccia - I should have asked for no beans, that’s my fault I didn’t notice the menu but I have never seen beans with mussels before. The grilled focaccia that came with it was so good!!! The She crab soup was delicious. I ordered the Baby Iceberg Wedge - black garlic ranch, baby heirloom tomato, pickled red onion, house queso fresco, bacon lardon. It was good but it was served with their house balsamic vinaigrette instead (covered not on the side) we didn’t have time to even address it because it came out late and we had our 3 small children with us. I got a dirty martini with dinner and it was great, my husband had a coke and unfortunately we had to ask every single time for a refill, server never noticed and asked or just brought a refill. No steak knife given with the 8oz filet mignon, No huge deal and it was Christmas but $180 later… 🤔

    I want to thank Saltine for coming to the rescue after my Christmas was almost ruined! My stepdad took us to another place because his hairdresser recommended it, but when we discovered that it was a buffet, we noped it out of there. So, my mom asked me to find another place, and I stumbled upon Saltine. When I told my mom about the prime rib dinner (good lord, it’s delicious), she and my stepdad agreed to go. Good thing we picked this place because as soon as we pulled up to the Hilton, we were impressed! Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long and we were seated right away. Though, I felt sorry for the lobsters in the tank. Anyway, we got seated in a pretty comfortable booth/chair area and we had Destiny as our server (she was awesome). My mother and I went with her recommendation of the Christmas dinner and the she crab soup! The prime rib came out ridiculously fast and right behind the soup! I didn’t have to ask how I wanted it cooked because it was as if the chefs read my mind and knew that I wanted it medium rare. The potato puree, root veggies, au jus, and horseradish sauce complemented the prime slice of ambrosia on my plate. Oh! And the plum toffee pudding! It’s probably the best I’ve ever tasted! All of it was house made, the toffee tasted just like Golden Grahams without the weird preservatives, and it was so good that it deserves its own paragraph on here. That and the darkening of the restaurant was the crescendo of the wonderful evening! It went perfectly with the elegant and chic Christmas decorations! Saltine saved my Christmas and I want to thank them for it! I hope to make their prime rib dinner into a new Christmas tradition. Thank you so much, Saltine! Lots of chef’s kisses!

    The Christmas Day 3 course was a standard rib of beef meal. I was expected there would have been a seafood option - for the Christmas Day meal. I was not disappointed in the oysters & Snapper my daughter ordered. And will visit again.

    This was our first visit to Saltine and it was great. The food was amazing, service was great, topped by an amazing drink menu. The ambiance was perfect and the host was accommodating with our plus one that wasn’t included on the reservation. Definitely try the calamari and the Rockefeller oysters. The clam chowder and she crab soup is a must. Looking forward to our next visit.

    Wife, son and I shared a wonderful dinner at Saltine after WinterFest at Nauticus. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Our server Mattie was friendly, funny and attentive but not pushy. The food was served at the appropriate interval and temperature. The atmosphere is lovey and inviting, and although the restaurant was crowded, it wasn’t loud and we were treated as if we were the only patrons. We highly recommend it. Well done. Full marks.

    Happy Hour 3-6 was a great deal prior to dinner. A few basic drinks we like - Tom Collin’s and Old Fashioned were $5, house wine $4 and the best deal of all - $1 COLISSAL steamed peel and eat shrimp.

    Crab cackes tasted fishy. Every plate was the same just change the main protein. Salmon filet was nice
