Salted Lime is a local restaurant in downtown Somerville, New Jersey featuring modern Latin-inspired food and drink for everyone to enjoy. We pride ourselves on featuring local New Jersey farmers whenever possible and provide a comfortable space to dine. We feature a full bar with specialty tequila cocktails while still offering beer and wine options. Our menu features traditional Latin food & incorporates American comfort food as well. Our goal is to be one of the top neighborhood restaurants in downtown Somerville.

The food, service and overall experience at Salted Lime was amazing! I highly recommend the brisket dish and the tres leches cake. Our server Tyler was very attentive, and the manager was super nice to us when there wasn't a low top table available. Definitely going back!

the food here is soooooo good I come here all the time, definitely recommend the birria tacos and the yuca croquettes. only complaint is that it is expensive, like $30 for 3 tacos?! they even charged us $2 for tortilla chips like what it's a Mexican restaurant

Under new management. Working out the kinks with the new menu. Great drink great customer service. Can’t wait to see more down the line. My go to when in the area. Thanks Josh for taking care of us on Cinco de Mayo.

The food was mediocre. Service was poor. I was dining with a friend with celiac disease. The menu specifically highlights multiple gluten free options. Since my friend has a serious allergy, she double checked with the waitress by asking if the chips for the guac were gluten free. The waitress said “yes, as long as you’re ok with cross contamination”. What!!! That means they are not truly gluten free. It is absurd that a restaurant would promote gluten free options but then allow the food to be cooked in the same fryer as gluten items. A gluten allergy should be taken as seriously as a peanut allergy. This alone makes me not want to return.

Highly recommend! Delicious drinks and scrumptious food. We weren’t crazy about the ceviche but all the other appetizers, meals and dessert 5 stars
