Salt Yard is an award-winning charcuterie bar and restaurant serving modern tapas inspired by the flavours and produce of Spain and Italy.

The tapas are complemented by charcuterie and cheese boards and we have a wide selection of excellent wines and sherries. Flexibility is key to Salt Yard. Customers can enjoy a full spread of tapas: or come in simply for a glass of red wine and a plate of cheese, a coffee and a delicious pudding, or even just a perfect martini and a handful of Marcona almonds.

Located in central London – a two minute walk from Goodge St tube station and a five minute walk from Oxford Circus – we are perfectly placed for a business lunch, a pre-theatre meal or a night out with friends.

It's been a while since I have dined here. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly and efficient, though it was a very quiet Sunday evening and the downstairs was closed. For the high price of the food and wine, the tables were far too close together - it is not a McDonald's - and the furniture and fittings seemed tired. Urban Pubs & Bars Ltd is a big group with over 40 establishments and can afford to sort this out. Noise level was low but there were very few people dining that evening.

Very enjoyable family lunch. Unfortunate to go for tapas and find iberico not available on the day. Also not available one of the dessert wines we ordered. Otherwise it was great: relaxed atmosphere, delicious food (including one of the best fried squid dishes ever), and not bad value for money.

Disappointing experience after my previous visit. Service poor - had ordered tasting menu but too long a gap in between next items arriving and we had to stop waiters to ask for them. Squid course was also missed and no alternative offered until we queried this.

What a gem!!!!! Fancied some tapas after a wonderful day in town and found Salt Yard. Never been before but the menu looked good. Went for the taster menu and it was fantastic! Not one bad dish although I wish there were more prawns!!! Service was wonderful, really lovely people in a super relaxed environment. Best dish on the taster, and this is hard as they were all great but the duck was superb!!!!! Thanks for a wonderful meal.

One of my favourite places. Consistently great food. Always lovely service and a lovely vibe - especially in the summer when the doors/windows are all open.

We arrived quiet late for our booking but the staff was super attentive even though we had a lot of questions. The tasting menu is a good option to try different menu items, and I really recommend the halibut.
