New to this excellent tapas restaurant near Southwark Cathedral but it's a find. Delicious Spanish sharing dishes - the stuffed aubergine flowers outstanding - all served with enthusiasm by the staff. Slightly too-loud music, but not offensive.I recommend asking for a quiet table at the end of the room which has chairs with backs. I especially appreciated being shown to the disabled loo on the ground floor because the manager noticed I was limping, rather than being made to go down a flight of steps.

Lovely atmosphere but we were in a corner and felt rather forgotten. The food was fine, and we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t matter, but it never feels nice to be left without drinks from the outset. The menu is not large and my choice was unavailable, as was my choice of soft drink, and my husbands Port also unavailable. Just a little disappointing.

Very little food for extremely high price - probably the worst tapas I’ve ever had. They don’t even do hot chorizo! Fancy deco but less than average food. To be fair tho our waiter was amazing and provided a great experience. Shame I spent a fortune and still come away hungry

Delicious food, great service and a nice lively vibe. My only reason for not giving full marks, other than I save top marks for food I’m going to dream about after, is the whole small plates situation a lot of restaurants have means the price easily racks up.

This wasn’t my first visit and previously I’ve been very impressed. This time wasn’t such a good experience. The service was friendly but a bit chaotic. We had a different member of staff every time someone came to our table. The menu is really varied and the food was nice but nothing special. It is sharing plates but the portions are especially tiny. I wouldn’t rush back sadly.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with our supper last night. I had booked it for a special occasion with two friends who have not been to SY before. We were put in the basement which was chilly and the music too loud. We ordered our food and it arrived quickly, but everything was cold. We ordered scallops that didn’t arrive and we were rushed to pay the bill so I presume we were charged for them! I always write reviews for restaurants I visit, but I will not share my experience on the various portals, but hope you will give some compensation for this unsatisfactory experience. I will also wait to hear from you with Confirmation of whether our bill included the scallops we didn’t have.
