This is our third dinning experience since this restaurant has opened. The service was great, the food was great and the experience was fantastic. Very upbeat happening restaurant. Neil the manager was on top of thing and made sure he spoke to every quest.

This restaurant is stupidly expensive. $40 for a single crabcake? $80 for a small piece of fish? Come on.

We absolutely loved the Blue Mermaid vibes of Salt Water Social and the incredible food! The DJ was playing some great throwbacks and really set the tone for a retro vibe. The atmosphere was just amazing. We loved the blue vintage tables, the blue lights at the bar, the Mermaid statues and paintings and scales all over the place. The mix of Land and Sea really makes the concept of this restaurant come together. The Crab Cakes were a MUST. The oysters were perfect, not too salty. The Mushroom + Truffle Rigatoni is one of the best pastas I've ever tasted. The Lobster Roll was soooo good. And the Steak was so juicy , perfect pairing with mashed potatoes and aspires on top. The cocktails were stunning and delicious. Our personal favorites were the "Seven Seas" which was a blue drink with a Bubble on top that dissipated into a fog in such a beautiful way. The Neptune's Nectar was incredible, one of the best cocktails I have ever had! The Watermelon Wave was so refreshing, with a fresh Watermelon. The Lava Cake (complete with cherries inside) was just incredible. The perfect blend of chocolate and cherries. The Flambé Banana Foster with a Beignet is a true stand out. You can't pass it up!

Music was way too loud, gave me a headache. Had to almost shout to be heard across the table.

Delicious food but very small portions for entree cioppino, for the price it could have had a few more pieces of fish, I’d suggest at least 3 shrimp and 2 scallops with all the other goodies. Caesar salad delicious and big. Double pork chop was cooked to perfection. Truffle pasta was very tasty!

Granted, it was only the first couple weeks of service. We felt for the money, it definitely wan't worth it. 2 entrees, 2 apps, & 1 bottle of wine was over $300. Lobter Bisque was lukewarm and so was the Cioppino. It is a cool space, so hopefully they will be able to get it all on track soon. It's not who comes to the restaurant to eat once, it is who returns for subsequent visits.

Starting with the positive, it’s a beautiful restaurant. They’ve done a fabulous job with the interior. It does have a DJ which sets off a nice ambience and makes it fun. We had good service with our waiter, but from there on it went downhill first of all, you can barely read the menu. The prices are the smallest font I’ve ever seen, but the crab cake appetizer was $49 and it was tiny. Then I got the cioppino which was $59 and it had two pieces of shrimp in it one scallop and one small piece of fish. Neither dish tasted that great and my husband and I left and went down to North and ordered two pizzas because we were starving.

Sports bar or fine dining? Wait staff and restaurant divas constantly asking questions about how we are doing way to many times . They need to let customer have a conversation with the people they are out to dinner with was a little over the top with to many times . I would rather see a fish tank over a boxing match with some soft music play than someone getting beat up . The Waiter wanting to read the entire menu like every thing is a special and again asking us 3 different time did we want a drink when we said we are waiting for our other guest in a span of just a few minutes. I found the food fair but the employees over the top made me nervous and uncomfortable . I couldn’t wait to get out of the place . I go out for a relaxing dinner not to be bummed rush all night from restaurant employees. Steak for 300 dollars no shrimp on the menu and again I think they are trying to be everything all at one time . Got a a girl at the front door opening and closing it trying to be everything but it’s all over kill in my opinion. The waiter tried to shake my hand they need to relax it’s not chop house or anything close to it just in cherry creek. Once was a enough i wasn’t crazy about it to go back. There are to many other good places to go in my opinion. Maybe it’s just new and everyone is excited and trying to over perform to keep there job but it’s a lot regardless. lol
