Food was excellent. The Lamb chops were the highlight of our meal. The ginger date reduction was nothing short of AMAZING. I was dissatisfied with the number mosquitos around while dining. We felt forced to rush our meal because I had at minimum 8 mosquito bites in less than an hour. The ambiance was romantic but the tables could use more lighting. I couldn’t see well enough to open my lobster tails or read the menu without a flashlight

If not for the gorgeous views, I wouldn't go back to Salt Shack to eat. The food was mediocre at best. I really had high hopes for the food due to all the great reviews, but our food was not fresh at all. The fries were stale, the burger was overdone, and they brought out the wrong salad. I ordered the crabcakes and they were good, but very spicy. The menu didn't say anything about how spicy they were. It was our anniversary and my birthday, so they gave us champagne on the house and a free dessert. The champagne was okay and the cheesecake was served warm. It also didn't taste fresh. I was really disappointed in the quality of the food. Our server was nice but forgetful. After all that, I wouldn't recommend Salt Shack for a meal. Just drinks and a beautiful view.

The service was exceptional, but my steak was very tough and I could not even cut it. I only ate half of it. We did have the crabcakes and those were great.

This place is awesome! Steps from the water and the beach. We had the Conch fritters which were a good size and yummy!

Food and drinks were so good! Curry chicken and squid ink pasta were delicious with great flavors. Service was fast, and the setting was very pretty!

Myrtle was phenomenal! She took such good care of us girlies on my bday. She was sweet, accommodating, and super cool. She really made my night x10 better and I can’t thank her enough. I don’t care what she’s paid, woman needs a raise! Protect her at all costs. Also, thank you Jason for the incredible blue cheese stuffed, extra dirty martini. You’re a homie<3
