We are excited to bring our dream to a reality along with friends and family. We plan to share our love and knowledge of an industry that we are so passionate about and proud to be a part of in our hometown of New Brunswick. Here at Salt, we are creating a modern oyster bar with a hip vibe serving up a large variety of fresh local oysters, as well as oysters from around the US. We will offer a seafood inspired seasonal menu both in our casual bar and our elegant dining room. We will also offer many innovative dishes including a variety of local meats along with plenty of vegetarian options. We aim to create an inviting atmosphere for everyone with our warm décor and friendly staff. Our full bar will feature a variety of signature cocktails and revolving creative small plates. Chef Chris’ passion for food promises consistent exceptional quality and to awaken the palate with bold, fresh flavors in every bite!

Great place for an intimate seafood dinner. Highly recommend. Service was good and though moderate noise background, it did not interfere with conversations at our table. Will definitely return.

We went to the happy hour, with half price oysters, which we particularly enjoy. We also had reduced price wine, calimari and various appetizers. The food and drinks were great, but our waiter vanished, and also missed part of our order. We've been here several times and never encountered any problems with service before - maybe he was new.

This is by far one of the best restaurants we have been to in a while. Everything is perfect. The service, food. The specials are amazing as well as regular menu. 2 Thumbs up 👍👍

Enjoyable evening at Salt with old friends. All items we ordered were good! We had a salad, fried squid, mussels and lobster bisque to start. We all had Halibut- unfortunately they would not allow any substitution for the asparagus that accompanied our entree. Desserts were freshly made and very good! Service was attentive but didn’t bring drinks out in a timely manner. Corner table helped make noise level tolerable. Table lamps were helpful for reading menus in dimly lit restaurant. No parking validation provided. Overall good!

My wife and I had an amazing time. We had twin argentinian lobster tails which were sweet and fantastic. We also had the crab cakes which were the best we ever had. The shrimp cocktail was extremely fresh and the desserts were incredible. On top of all that, our waiter was the best. We had such a great time and definitely recommend this place and will be back!
