The kitchen was slow but the food was outstanding and the waiter was very helpful. The view is always special here. We will go back.

We've been going to SALT for more than 7 years and unfortunately it's just not as good as it used to be. I'm still sad that the original meatball recipe from years ago is not on the menu anymore. Yes, they have a meatball dish on the menu, but it's just not the same. Also, where is the amazing bread and butter that they used to offer? The views on the patio are phenomenal and if you can eat dinner while the sun sets — it's spectacular (especially if the fog doesn't roll in). However, the restaurant changed the decor and it doesn't feel as special/high-end as it once did. The main dishes used to come with sides and I prefer that over ordering a separate side dish. I ordered the pork chop with Thai basil this time and unfortunately it was overcooked. My husband ordered the branzino and enjoyed it. We split the Brussels sprouts and they were okay. My sisters-in-law ordered the ahi tuna and crabcake and their dishes. The bread pudding was underwhelming. The service is good, but wasn't great. I don't think they had enough servers working, so our waitress was spread too thin. We'll probably keep coming back because of the location/views, but I hope the food gets better.

Our server was Pablo, and he was amazing. We had their Dine LA special, but added their Lamb lollipops and everything was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend. Their Pork chops were amazing and their Short Rib was perfect. Literally a melt in your mouth experience. Their appetizer selection was delicious...Everything tasted delicious.

Lovely outdoor view of the Marina. My food options were okay, my dining companions chose better and enjoyed theirs more.

I called in advance to confirm DineLA start hours and left a comment on the reservation. Despite confirmation, when at the restaurant, the information the staff provided was different.
