Salt is my go-to place for a lovely local dining experience. The food, especially the fish dishes and the avocado hummus appetizer, is terrific. And being on the patio waterside is just the best -- any time of day. Service is always terrific. The main dishes are a bit pricey so this is not a frequent dining option for my budget, but well worth it whenever there's a chance or occasion to hang out there with a friend or two or three. The heaters and fire pits keep you cozy outdoors even in cooler weather.

The food was great, but the service was slow at times and the noise level made it challenging to have conversations with talking very loud. Better to sit outside if you want a more intimate experience

Food was delicious, Pablo and Javi our servers was both very professional and described the food and desserts in great detail. The pork chop was full of layered flavor and is the best I’ve ever had! We had no room for dessert but had to try it after Javi let us know how good they are. The view is beautiful and we were able to walk the marina after dinner . Great experience!

All food was pretty bland. It’s like the chef didn’t believe in adding ANY salt at all, which is ironic given its name.

We had a lovely lunch here overlooking the marina. The food was excellent with generous portions and reasonable prices. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed and we will definitely go back

We had a fabulous dinner— the food was superb and our waitress Natalie was wonderful!!! We’d never eaten at Salt and it was tricky to find though we know MDR well. The only signage is at the corner of Admiralty Way and the restaurant is actually tucked away inside a little boutique hotel (definitely one of the best kept secrets in LA!), the food is divine! Once we found the hotel it was still a bit of a puzzle finding the restaurant entrance. The people at the concierge desk were no help. There were several employees at the desk no one ever greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. Other than the little hiccup we had a lovely evening.
