If you are looking for an Asian restaurant that is not just your typical, go to Plymouth MA and try Salt. I highly recommend -- absolutely delicious! The menu is unusual, certainly not "your average joe" selections... You're getting a well thought through menu - variety - taste and price!! Great selection for drinks, wine, and non-alcoholics. Atmosphere is perfect for small or large parties. Service was/is outstanding (I've been here at least 4 times). Definitely a keeper on my favorite list.

We dine at Salt often as well as Leena’s. Every reservation at Salt we request the main dining room. The set up at Salt is awkward at best- the entry room is chaotic as is the bar and the 3 season porch is like a takeout restaurant. The main dining room is very nice. We always get the main dining room. The experienced hostess also recognizes us and is usually pleasant. It is weird that on many occasions if we show up 5-10 minutes early they literally ask us to leave and come back. On this night we were a foursome with good friends who have had very bad experiences with Salt severe willingly to give it another try with us. We had a 6:45 reservation and had requested main dining room. We arrived at 6:45. They told us our table wasn’t ready yet so we moved aside- they then told us to either go to the bar which was jammed or outside- not going outside. The same hostess and two others kept walking by us not acknowledging the time passing and ignoring us. At 7:15 they told us our table was ready- in the 3 season porch! Gave us attitude about not guaranteeing main dining room, but when we got there they told us they were just waiting for the Larry to leave our table in main dining room. They weren’t apologetic- and particularly the regular hostess- acted like she was doing us a favor with any table. She didn’t care - even after our guest shared with her his irritation of past experiences. 10 minutes after we were seated another hostess came and offered us the main dining room but it was too late and too disruptive as thankfully we had a lovely and kind waitress who made for a better rest of our evening- with no thanks to the hostess team. Such attitude! We won’t be back for a while and will share our experience with others- what’s the point of making a reservation if you still have to wait 30 minutes and then not even sit where you’d like to- with no apologies or kindness- isn’t the customer always right? You bought us a drink but it was too late after what had transpired.

We were seated in an added on section off the bar. It had no ambiance, was drafty, and noise from outside was very loud.

Great restaurant, amazing food, attentive wait staff overall a wonderful experience! Bathrooms could have been situated further away from the tables. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thank you for a great night out!

Seated 20 minutes after our reservation, received water 20 minutes after that. Food was okay, nothing great. There are much better restaurants in the area that aren't this pretentious.
