The Salt Kitchen & Bar located inside of Hotel LBI offers coastal-casual dining, featuring a bright open dining room with spectacular views of the Barnegat Bay. The dinner menu consists of local seafood, steaks, and chops.
*Reservations are highly recommended. Please book via OpenTable.com
*Our phone lines are often busy during dinner service, however questions regarding dining may be answered after 3:00pm at 609-991-8001.
*10 max party size. *We do not accommodate split parties.
*Outside seating, in season, is available first come first serve with a reservation & non reservable.
*There will be a $5 per person cake cutting fee for any cakes brought in from outside the premises.
*Check-in is at the hostess stand by Salt Kitchen where a hostess will escort you to your table.

Food was amazing and service was even better! Highly recommend the cheese charcuterie and carrot cake!! Great meal from start to finish!

Food was not hot and the Brussel sprouts had stems on them we had to send them back. The waiter went above and beyond (maybe to much) ... place is beautiful but no culinary experience

Expensive but very nice atmosphere and food was great. Is VERY loud in the restaurant though.

My family and I have been coming here for years and this was the worst experience that we have ever had at salt. There was a child choking and people screaming for help, there was another child running and a server accidentally hit into her with a butter knife, and the waiter did not tell us the specials and wasn’t willing to help accommodate us with a food request and answered in a snippy way. The food was dried as well. It is such a shame because this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Enjoyed a lovely evening outdoor dining. Lovely waiter. The Cajun scallops are a must have as is the branzino. Had an amazing peach dessert.

My review may have been better if I weren’t experiencing sticker shock. Prices have gone up markedly in the last year. One of us had a tuna special that was $80. The meals were good but not worth that price. Other regular menu items are much higher than a year ago.The service was attentive and the space enjoyable.

My Wife and I had a fantastic experience at Salt! Tim the waiter and bartender clearly made a lasting impression with their exceptional service and skills. The food was exceptional too, thanks to the new chef. Meeting the manager was great and we can see why Salt is definitely worth a return visit!
