The Salt Kitchen & Bar located inside of Hotel LBI offers coastal-casual dining, featuring a bright open dining room with spectacular views of the Barnegat Bay. The dinner menu consists of local seafood, steaks, and chops.
*Reservations are highly recommended. Please book via OpenTable.com
*Our phone lines are often busy during dinner service, however questions regarding dining may be answered after 3:00pm at 609-991-8001.
*10 max party size. *We do not accommodate split parties.
*Outside seating, in season, is available first come first serve with a reservation & non reservable.
*There will be a $5 per person cake cutting fee for any cakes brought in from outside the premises.
*Check-in is at the hostess stand by Salt Kitchen where a hostess will escort you to your table.

Overall it was very good. Quite noisy, when we first arrived but it quieted down. Service was excellent! Lobster bisque was salty but the lobster tails were delicious!! Will go back.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Salt Kitchen. The ambiance was perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to our waiter, Mike, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. His attentive service, friendly demeanor, and excellent recommendations made our visit truly memorable. We highly recommend Salt Kitchen and will definitely be back!

My husband and I got married at Hotel LBI two years ago so every year on our anniversary we come to the hotel for the night and eat at Salt Kitchen, and we plan to continue this tradition for years to come. We had dinner at the restaurant last night, and it was as delicious as it was the year before - food and drinks are great, nice ambiance, and service was excellent! Our waitress was so sweet and super attentive. We had the cheese board special as an appetizer, I had the watermelon and roasted tomato salad and lobster bisque and my husband had the branzino - everything was really good! The manager came over to wish us a happy anniversary and comped us desserts - we had the lemon sorbet and lavender creme brûlée, which were awesome! We always enjoy our food and night celebrating our anniversary at Salt Kitchen and at Hotel LBI - we’ll be back next year!

Service was great. Room was very loud. Food is mediocre and overpriced. $70 for an 8 oz filet mignon and $75 for a 12 oz NY strip. Both average. Nothing great. Appetizers were just ok. Wedge salad, yellowtail tartare.

Food and menu was noticeably better than last visit. Would like to see locally sourced seafood on the menu though. That’s a miss.

A class act!! A great experience from start to finish. The chef obviously knows what he is doing, awesome menu. The service was prompt, friendly and the staff very knowledgeable. The restaurant manager was friendly and made sure every one was happy and had what they wanted. We will be coming back, often!!
