Started off rocky with no table for the reservation. Wait time was only 4 minutes, wasn't terrible, the decor is slightly different in everyroom. They certianly maximized the space. Menu was perfectly sized with opitions but not over board. We had pasta and seafood. Both came out hot, cooked and absolutely delicious. Service throughout was steady and water was kept full without overfussing. We will be returning to try other menu items.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise as we were looking for a good restaurant near Olney Theater. The ambiance was charming and the food was superior. Great find.

We went on Christmas Eve. The food was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful!! A great way to spend a night with my family. It might become on new tradition.

Our family had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner. As an Italian American family we truly appreciated the traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes menu. We had them all and each one was amazing. Dining out on a holiday is usually a sub par experience. But Christmas Eve at Salt and Vine was very much the opposite. The food was excellent, as was the service. Bravo!

The entire experience was fantastic. I had emailed the restaurant to advocate that a dish they used to have on their menu be considered for a return, and the chef emailed me back that they would make it for me at our next visit, which we already had a reservation for. They must have put a note on our reservation, because our server knew all about it before we said anything at all. The Manager stopped by to talk about it too. I can’t think of any other restaurant I’ve been to that has gone that far above and beyond for the average customer. The food was wonderful, and we adore our server to the point that we ask for her every time we go.

We celebrated the holidays in the private room. We had the wonderful Josie taking care of us. We ordered a lot of different appetizers, pizzas, salads and pasta’s to taste and share. We did the same with dessert. Dishes were was hot, delicious and served to our specifications. We like our pizza more on the well done side and that is what we got. The only thing I’d think about it is the cost of alcoholic beverages. They add up quickly and the martinis in particular are not huge. Enjoy the bubbly or some wine instead. Overall we had a wonderful experience. We love hosting dinners here.

Our experience was excellent from the moment we entered until we exited. Beckett made night special. He was very attentive, made wonderful appetizer, cocktail, entree and dessert suggestions. We will definitely dine here again.
