The service was great! My wife ordered the Halibut speacial and loved it. I ordered the filet and it was ruined in cooking. Way too much salt and the surface burnt to a crisp. The carrots, string beans and mashed potatoes were cooked quite well. We've been coming here since it was The Capri, then the Kenwood Restaurant, around 45 years or so, and we have neverhad a meal like this before. Probably won't happen in the future.

Bar room seating was better than I expected and I was expecting seating at the bar. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Calamari was one of the best I ever tasted. I love the touch of Jalapenos in it. Steak came out just the way I ordered it and scallops were good. I'd definitely eat there again and plan on going back to use my gift card remaining credit.

Our server and busboy were very attentive and their service was excellent. The server offered options and more detailed information on the menu items than was provided on the menu. We never felt rushed or forgotten. One suggestion is the creamy polenta had too much garlic.

We were quite disappointed. My half dungeness crab shrimp sandwich was very disappointing. It was tiny and had obviously been prepared hours ago if not the day before. I noticed two tiny bay shrimp and the bread underneath was so hard I really needed a stak knife to cut it. Clearly it was not freshly prepared. The asparagus soup was delicious and the breadpudding dessert was good. You can do better!

A beautiful place to dine in Wine Country. Ambiance is lovely, food is delicious and the service is attentive.

Incredibly delicious dinner! A homerun with the Short Ribs polenta, salad, bread pudding, chocolate cake. The wine, a cab, was awesomely paired with the super flavored, tender, meat. The service was impeccable = courteous and attentive. We will be going back to Salt and Stone and soon!!

Food was delicious as always. We ordered two gem Caesar salads and a Shanghai chicken salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. They served warm bread with some butter. It was really good but wish they would have had a couple more pieces as there were three of us and not enough for everyone. There were three pieces but the third piece was the end of the loaf and very small. The servers were very nice but didn’t come back to check if I wanted more wine or if my mom wanted more coffee. They were busy as it was lunch time on Saturday. So not much to complain about. It was very good and we will definitely go back.

We went to Salt & Stone for Restaurant Week. The choices we had was perfect for our needs. Candace was our waitress, she made us feel very comfortable with our evening. She was very polite, courteous. suggested different things on the menu. Always cleaning our plates as we finished the different courses, as did the other staff. Service was fast, and we were in & out in a timely manner.

The food is always exceptional and their attention to safety for those that need to be gluten-free is top-notch! They have a dedicated fryer so gluten-free people can enjoy some of those fried options. Also fun cocktails/mocktails!

We had a Great waiter, perfect spot on the outdoor patio. BUT my entree was a BIG disappointment. I ordered Delcata Squash & mixed green salad. SAD presentation w/no flavor what so ever. In fact the squash was dried out & almost tasted spoiled?! Mixed greens had only 2 small crumbles of feta w/hardly any dressing. Told our waiter and he took it away, apologized. Offered if I would like to order something else which I did. Unfortunately I watched my friend & husband eat their entire entrees until my food came out! Long delay! It should have been a priority to get the entree back to customer as soon as possible after trying to eat an unacceptable dish. Should also have been comped for the poor quality food & long delay of replaced entree. Considering the usual quality at Salt/Stone & as frequent diners, so disappointing!
