This was the first time we’ve eaten at Salt & Iron. Super disappointed - we bought Calamari, a burger. bowl of chowder, and two ice teas. The burger’s bun was overcooked (crunchy) and drowning in sauce. The bill was $82.00? I don’t mind paying more if the food is amazing - but the food was horrible. We won’t be back - so disappointing!

Busy restaurant and I have eaten her before and loved the avocado toast. This time I had the pomodoro tomato and avocado benedict. I wasn't a fan. The tomatoes were good but they were sundried and spicey with olive oil. Overwhelming for the dish. Couldn't taste the hollandaise sauce which is the only reason to order benedict.

We brought an out of town visitor for her birthday and we all had a fantastic meal together. The service was outstanding, the food was as delicious as we’ve come to expect, and perhaps even better with the switch to the fall menu. My friend was treated very special throughout the meal, including the candle and house-made salted caramel celebration treat. A wonderful experience at S&I for all of us!

Had a 7pm reservation, I was there at 7 my friend was a little late about 7:15, waitress finally came by at 7:30. We had an appetizer, entrees and a bottle of wine. Food was fine. We were in the back dining room, by 8:30 we were the last customers. They dimmed the lights as a hint, then at 8:45 they completely dimmed the lights so the room was dark. Not a subtle hint, would have preferred if the waitress had just said it was closing time, the waitress did not say anything to us. It was a Wednesday evening so maybe that is late for a Wednesday. Waitress was abrupt. Not a place to linger after you finish your last bite. Won’t return.

We had a wonderful experience for dinner. Their affogato espresso martini was so delicious. Fresh oysters, amazing risotto, filet was cooked perfectly and we also had their garlic fries. Would recommend for a nice dinner out whether you’re local, visiting, or hosting.

Great brunch! I don't recommend the coffee here though. Very acidic, heavy, and kinda nasty.

My wife and I wanted to try a local spot after whale watching and we came across Salt and Iron…what a pleasant surprise! The service and staff was excellent and the food was great. From the seafood to the bison to the dessert (best keylime pie I’ve ever had!) - we would love to come back!
