Salt & Brick x Charlie’s turn ONE, and we’re going all out November 14th - 17th! We'll kick it off Thursday, November 14th at 5:00 pm with Chef Alejandro and a live Bluefin Tuna cutting, paired with a welcome Ruinart Champagne upon arrival. $50 Tuna Tasting and $25 Ruinart pours all night. Friday and Saturday, it’s sashimi platters with Ruinart Champagne, Poema Cava, and Fiol Prosecco, while DJs bring the vibe in the Lower Lounge at 10:00 pm. Sunday wraps it up with birthday cocktails at Charlie’s, where guest bartender Franz Swinton will shake-up the night. We invite all our industry friends and guests to join us for Ruinart Champagne and Fernet specials all night! Reserve your table now and celebrate our first birthday with us, in style.

I have been to Salt & Brick twice. The first time, I would have rated it five stars! I had excellent service and the food was incredible. The recent experience was not good. Our server appeared grumpy, did not smile or engage much, barely made eye contact. The mackerel was musty and didn’t taste fresh. We sent it back and apologized. Our server only said, “anything else wrong?” She seemed to be angry. When I apologized again when she came back, she didn’t acknowledge me. The beef tartar was exceptional. Everything else was just OK. The reason we will try S&B again - they didn’t charge for the mackerel and my first experience was so excellent. Maybe a weekday experience is better than the weekend. I’d go back just for the beef tartar.

Absolutely loved my experience The food was amazing full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better night out. Highly recommend!

Truly, some memorable and delicious dishes. I was here in the spring and the menu has changed with the season - something I appreciate a lot. Can't wait 'till our next visit 🙂 Michael

We loved the Speakeasy (Charlies) - fantastic ambience and amazing drinks (thanks Matt!). After cocktails at Charlies we went into the restaurant and were served an amazing collection of food, paired with a beautiful wine - thanks Cody! It has a very unique and fun atmosphere and we will certainly go back!

This is a little gem in the heart of downtown! The ambiance is warm and inviting, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food is so amazing! Everything was fabulous and can't wait to go back.

We had the best experience at Salt and Brick last night. It was our first time, and my husband and I went for our anniversary. We were 25mins late for our reservation, so we went in thinking they wouldn’t be able to accommodate, but Dallas at the front said he saved us a new table by the bar. We were happy with that, but worried we wouldn’t get great service because it would be the bartender serving us. Boy were we wrong! Shelby went above and beyond and made our dinner one of the bests we’ve had in the city. He gave us complimentary bubbly to start and then suggested his favorite menu items. The food was…delectable, mouthwatering! Shelby was spot on with his wine paring suggestions and the entire night was a 10/10. Will definitely be back!

We had an amazing evening from start to finish. Attentive and friendly service. Excellent menu and it was so fun to share and try so many dishes. The food was fantastic with our standout favourite being the brussel sprouts - we are still talking about them on our chat today! We also loved the scallops, gnocchi and chai dessert. We finished the evening at Charlie’s and it was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Dallas and his exceptional team of chefs, bartenders and waitstaff are truly amazing. Everything was on point and they even had a couple tricks up their sleeve. We sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen. It was amazing to see the chefs in action. We enjoyed four amazing dishes, but now realize we need to get back ASAP to try all the other amazing options we saw being prepared. This is a beautiful space with talented people. Well done.
