The server forgot to enter in our main dishes, so we had our appetizer and sat and waited, and waited, and waited. I then asked them when would our main dishes come and they told me that because we had changed tables to the outside, the other server had forgot to enter in our order. It did come after we ordered a second time the cod dish was very dry, the fish was over cooked and the couscous was in flavourful and dry as well. The cornbread was delicious and the kale salad was overdressed.

The waitress had no idea how to answer questions about the sugar free drink options. We had to ask for salt 3 times before received. The food was ok - better than most of the restaurants in the area but quite bland. Tables are far apart which lets you talk without yelling as it’s a busy place. Just a few service tweaks could make this place a top spot in halifax

Quite disappointed with the service. I had a drink go down the wrong pipe and started coughing and choking and they took my drink away. They then threatened to kick me out after I tried to explain to them what happened. Will not be returning after being treated like that.

Our server, Gabriel was great! Two of us had fish and chips - very good. Other diner has the cod - also enjoyable. First time dining here. Woukd go back and recommend.

Service was lacking but food was excellent. Our server did not quality check any of our food, and we waited for 10 minutes before going to track down our server ourselves after we got our mains. We also needed drinks (he cleared our glasses, walked away before we could order, and never came back) and condiments. During this time we could see he was just standing in the kitchen talking.

We were four people and half got meal and 15 min later for other two also starters came 10 min apart.

The only thing they have going for themselves is their location. Scallops were flavorless, fish tacos tasted old and the chowder was lackluster. It’s the epitome of a tourist trap.

Patio was comfortable, food was very reasonably priced and quality was consistent. Server was great. Will definitely be back.
