    This was hands down the best meal and experience we had during our stay in Halifax. Our server Shaun (sp?) was unbelievably kind, helpful and had a great personality. The food was all exceptional and we all agree that the pizza was the best pizza we have had EVER (and we are from Toronto). We had the following dishes: 1. Pizza (Margarita, Mushroom, Butter Chicken) 2. Jalapeno corn bread 3. Fish and Chips 4. Kale Caesar Salad 5. Brussel Sprouts 6. Chicken Wings 7. Tuna Crudo 8. Peach Cheesecake I do not have a single negative thing to say about this restaurant. We were blown away by every aspect of this experience. If you have the time, definitely check it out!

    We arranged for our daughter’s birthday dinner with family. They were very accommodating for the cake. The noise level is very high and difficult to talk at the table. The music level caused people to talk even louder.

    Awesome experience on the waterfront! Food was delicious and service was great. Really fun atmosphere.

    Very good experience. The drinks and food were reasonably priced, but maybe a few extra scallops would’ve been nice. The service and atmosphere were great. I’ll definitely be going back.

    Salt and Ash is a beautiful and clean restaurant with great ambiance; however, I feel like the food I initially ordered last night missed the mark and was underwhelming. I did not feel that I got good value as the portion was quite small and the food was a bit bland. I also found the menu to be quite limited this visit. I visited in June 2023 and they had a fried chicken dinner on the menu and it was delicious. I wish Salt and Ash would add that meal back to the dinner menu! I did enjoy the pie we ordered for dessert though! It was tasty, and I thought the white chocolate shavings on top were a nice touch! I also want to note that our server was excellent.

    Great spot for a casual, coastal meal with friends. Good food, great service, and not off the charts expensive (despite the $$$ on TripAdvisor) Thanks for the great evening!

    So good for dinner on Thursday that I went back for lunch on Friday. Great seafood - fresh and perfectly prepared. The best cornbread I have ever had in my life. Excellent service. Great room. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices (actually better than reasonable for a waterfront restaurant).

    Lovely! Went back the next day for fish and chips. Casual but efficient service. Great food and cocktails for excellent value.
