Opening our doors in 1993, Salmon Dave’s has proudly endured as one of Greater Cleveland’s favorite local haunts. With an informal approach to upscale dining, our cozy neighborhood spot has gained a legendary reputation. After a recent head-to-toe renovation, Rocky River’s favorite restaurant is better than ever. The timeless character of the historic building lives on with distressed brick walls, crown moldings, and its signature mahogany bar.     Salmon is the signature item and it was not a great piece of fish and was served only lukewarm. Mashed potatoes were dry and lukewarm. Having been many times in the past, this visit was disappointing.

    Not our normal food experience. Lobster tail was over cooked. Twin filets one was great quality the other was poor quality. Crab cake appetizer was undercooked. Previous visits were a better food experience so will try again. I will say we did not complain though so they were not made aware. A nice restaurant should have better quality control though on their food. Atmosphere was great and server was nice so it is a good special occassion spot.

    Food was amazing and service was spectacular. The seafood is fresh and so flavorful!! One of the best seafood restaurants I have been to. We will definitely be back!!!

    Our server Birdie was the best! Food was absolutely amazing! I’ve had the best martini here I’ve ever had! This place is not only beautiful but the food and service is top tier. I will definitely be back.

    We had a wonderful dinner at Salmon Dave's. My shrimp & scallop saute was delicious. Scallops can be easily overcooked but these were perfect. My husband had a fish fry which he enjoyed & had enough leftover for lunch. Server was very helpful. Food came out out quickly.

    Took our Chicago friends for seafood and we were not disappointed Food was great as always and Bird-our server made it extra enjoyable….. again Thank you!

    My husband and I came in for a wedding anniversary. Let me start off by saying the server was very good and certainly do appreciate the complementary dessert, my husband, and I had the lobster and fillet special,  we were disappointed we could not swap out our mashed potatoes because of being a special but honestly, it’s just a starch, and the asparagus lacked any flavor whatsoever , seating for two is extremely small
