Distinctive, even for New Haven style. Charred crust yet sufficiently soft to eat. Flavorful imaginative combinations of ingredients . Salads fresh and noteworthy within the Italian framework. Cannoli also fresh and flavorful. The red sauce on apizza unlike any I have consumed. Very rich with immediate and lingering impact. Premises upscale and a bit out of character for pizza restaurants. However it seems intentional. We have eaten there twice. Once the apizza was really hot but the ensuing time only moderately so. Best in Hartford metro. I hope they don’t expand to the point of loss of discipline Even the coffee was carefully brewed and forceful. Not something expected in this genre

The staff is very friendly and attentive, the ambience is wonderful for a casual dinner, and the food is top tier!

All in all the food and experience was favorable. The wedge salad was excellent. Service was also excellent. Where we scratched our heads a bit was the pizza. Although very tasty and on par with previous New Haven experiences for taste the pie itself was very (paper) thin. Almost got the feeling corners were being cut due to cost of ingredients. Where that theory fell short and was proven wrong was in the check. Very pricey. I realize the trademark of this type of pizza is a thinner crust but they are noticeably lacking in body. Maybe there’s a learning curve. We’ll definitely give it another shot. I don’t mind the price as long as you get what you pay for.

I can’t really rate the food here since we never were able to eat, but I can rate the service. We were seated at 3:50 PM and when we hadn’t seen our server by 4:02 PM I asked for some help. I was told that our server had just clocked in and would be with us momentarily in about five minutes later. 20 minutes after that, we were advised that there was a problem with the computer system, and orders were delayed. I questioned why the tables on either side of us, which were seated after us, already had food yet our order hadn’t even been placed yet. The manager went to check with the kitchen and confirmed that not only had our order not been submitted yet, but it would be another 30 minutes at least before we received anything to eat. At that point we left we are going to wait a while before we try this restaurant again. Maybe it’s just still working out the kinks.

Pizza was very similar to the OG New Haven location. Vibes were good, food came out fast! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Went to Sally’s APizza first time with the family and it was nice, wings were way to spicy, but the Pizza was amazing but they should tone down the music way to loud and hard to have a conversation it feels like a sports bar in there, but great time overall 8/10

We loved our experience at Sally’s however, the music was a little loud and hard to talk across the table. Well, definitely go back.

Polite servers. We are pleased reservations are Taken. The food did not take too long. Overall very good experience
