We’ve been to Sally’s many times and we love the pizza and the atmosphere. However, our experience last night wasn’t great. We ordered a large pie and the price for the large pie was not listed on the menu and we were shocked (based on the price of a medium pizza) when we got our bill and learned that our pizza was $45. The price for all size pizzas should be listed on the menu. We also felt that the DJ’s music was too loud and not necessary at a restaurant like Sally’s. It was difficult for us to hear each other.

Sally’s is still the best pizza in the world (the mozzarella and tomato sauce pie). The pizza is as good as I had the last two times I’ve been to the New Haven original (since they were sold), and probably 95%-97% as good as Sally’s used to be before the original owners sold the place. The tomato sauce is as good as ever. They get the bottom crust right. And the clam pie is actually *better* under the new ownership, since they now use fresh clams like Pepe’s does! Unlike the New Haven location, they take reservations and it was easy to get in at lunch time. Just wish they would turn down the air conditioning some, since it caused the pizza to get cool more quickly - something that’s not a problem at the original! AC is nice, but for a Sally’s it should be more restrained.

The service here is awful!!!! The baked clams we ordered took 30 mins to come out and were practically raw. It took 20 mins to get drinks, our pizza took another 30-40 minutes to arrive, way longer than it should have taken. Our waiter did not come to check in on how our pizza was, which was awful by the way. We ordered the burrata pizza which was mostly covered in sauce and had minuscule amounts of burrata and you barely saw the pesto. Also, there was Chinese Lantern Flies by our table which was disgusting, and kept flying everywhere. One even fell on my mom's lap and one was on our table, which I had to kill. Our waiter disappeared after delivering our pizza. I went to the manager and complained about the poor service and told him we wanted our check since our waiter disappeared. I will not be coming back to this location ever again!

I had never been before, and my son has been raving about it for months!! I finally went and will be going back!!! The pizza is amazing and my Ceasar salad was great!!! I had to take some home because it was so big. I highly recommend Sally’s!!! Can’t wait to go again!

Food was excellent but didn't care for the Brussel sprouts. Waiter got lost a bit and could have been more attentive! They had a DJ which was quite loud and hard to have a conversation within a table of 4!

We were immediately seated and our food was quickly prepared and served. The pizza topping offerings were outstanding the staff managed to create a delicious half pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and meatball on one half and the other half was gulf shrimp. This was pizza heaven. The only downside - lightning bugs somehow got into the dining space. Our waiter explained once the outside area is opened for sidewalk dining, these insects always manage to gain entrance and that these cretins are indigenous to the Stamford area. Overall my wife and I enjoyed the meal - minus the bugs.

Trash service - sat 30min late to a reservation. Burrata pizza had zero burrata on it. Expensive. Never was checked in. It’s a pizzeria. It’s not hard to give good service and good value. I will be telling people to not go here. Frank Pepe’s 5min north of this Sally’s is way better service, speed, prices, quality of pizza.

Hot Sall’s Stamford on way back from Boston. Wanted to hit Wooster St on way to Boston to get both Sally’s and Frank Pepe’s. But both were very busy w long lines and we were only able to make Franks. So we were excited to hit Sally’s on return trip but opted for Stamford in an effort to avoid what appears to be a 24/7 line at the original location. The restaurant is in a very nice building in downtown Stamford. It’s very attractive location. The pizzas were great. Better than Frank’s for sure (but not as good as Delorenzos in Trenton NJ). The only negatives were it took a long time for the food to come out and the pizzas are pricy ($30). The time was the bigger issue since we were on a 6 hr ride from Boston so maybe it’s unfair to hold that against them. All in all very good and lives up to the hype. Still want to hit the original location sometime
