Sal y Mar has an excellent ambience. The food is outstanding and I “Highly” recommended the Paella. It’s not a traditional , but it so amazing that I might return in a few days just indulge once again in this fantastic dish. I’ve dined before at Sal y Mar and rate it as one of the best Tampa Bay locations for excellent food and an amazing atmosphere! Much Gratitude Sal y Mar …..

The staff was very friendly and the food was AMAZING!!! Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend Sal Y Mar.

Made a 7pm reservation for 8 guests. All there seated by 7. Drink order taken within the first few mins. Appetizers / dinner orders are taken about 20/30min. after arrival. Tables that came after us received their meals first. When asked about our waiter about order status, he said we have a big ticket and therefore takes longer. Long story short, we did not receive appetizers until 820 and dinner around 845. Food was overall good, the turnaround between time we order and food served was not acceptable, especially since it was Tue. and not a busy night. Drinks were good. 8/10, the extended wait time was a bit of letdown.

Came for my Fiancé’s birthday and it was amazing! From the food, to the service, to the view… Such a vibe and would highly recommend to anyone!

Today must have just been an off day. I've been here many times before outdoor seating and DJ Flex was nice.

Rooftop is great. You can sit at the bar and enjoy a drink and order from the menu. The red sangria was really good. Croquetteas were good as well. We ordered the deconstructed Pallela which was bleh and the stuffed poblano was not worth it at all. I don’t think it even had eggplant as described in the menu I would recommend the place only for drinks at the rooftop bar. Food is not worth it. Seating is very uncomfortable. The distance from the couch to the table is very inconvenient. You have to sit at the edge of the couch And the couch was pretty filthy, full of stains. I was not comfortable sitting there.

We were celebrating my friends birthday and we had a phenomenal time! Everything was delicious and our waiter Alex was exceptional and funny. Will be going back!
