Our final seating will be for guests looking to join us through the New Year! Seating in our Main Dining Room will be $275 per person, not including beverages, tax, and gratuity. This will feature a special New Year’s Eve menu that will consist of our greatest hits. There will be a DJ, countdown to midnight, and a complimentary champagne toast! All guests joining us for the final seating must be 21+ years of age. All guests attending our final seating must prepay the per person amount. In the event that you need to cancel, we ask that all cancelations be made by Monday, December 23rd in order to receive a full refund. After the 23rd, they are non-refundable. Decreases in party size cannot use remaining minimum towards beverage.

Was. Wet pleasantly surprised as most Tao restaurants expect you to arrive full and then snack on the decor. Some very good original dishes plus vegan options for my wife

It’s my second time coming here and I had a great experience as the first time. The food, service and ambience was outstanding. Took my bestie for her birthday and they didn’t disappoint. They gave us sake on the house and they gave her a beautiful ice cream cake with a birthday candle. She was so happy.

This was my first time here and it was amazing, the atmosphere and the food was incredible. The sushi melts in your mouth. Our service was also amazing, Rashad was our server and he was exceptional - gave us the best recommendations for drinks and specials and had the best energy. Next time I'm back in NYC this will be on my list.

Every single aspect of the experience was fantastic. However, we arrived 7 minutes late and even called ahead to let them know. As we were escorted to our seat, the manager rather unnecessarily said, “because you were late, I’m going to need that table at 9:30.” Come off it dude. Zero reason for that kind of service behavior. It definitely compromised our enjoyment of the meal, and for zero benefit to us or the restaurant as there were plenty of open tables at 9:30. I will recommend the restaurant, but will make fun of that one point every time. Figure out a better policy than that. Incidentally, we stayed till 10:07 just for giggles.

Went on a Thursday night and it wasn’t super crowded which honestly was a relief. We had excellent and attentive service and enjoyed everything from the whiskey flight to the wafu carbonara! The restaurant is beautiful and fun for a night out.

What i thought was going to be a great birthday celebration turned out to be a huge disappointment. Everything about the restaurant is amazing. However the service we received was AWFUL. We ordered from the pre-fixed menu which was excellent. Then, we waited for almost an hour for our meals to come. Our servant stated that there were private parties going to which I presume meant there’s no time to serve everyone else. I witnessed some people waiting to be served and some waiting for quite some time for the check. Anywho, we spoke to the manager who apologized for the long wait and stated that the bill was going to be on the house, and the we left. Great place and ambiance. The service I experienced…..not so great.

The food and service were fabulous. The ambience and decor were awesome. If I could change anything, I would make it a little easier to speak to the other people in our party - it was hard to hear actress the table.
