The ambiance was gorgeous. I love the dim lighting and the decor. It felt so romantic! I made a reservation for myself and my girlfriends to celebrate an engagement and this was the PERFECT choice. The quality of the food was definitely worth the price and the service was awesome. Amazing and friendly staff. I will be back

Sashimi was meh (had scallop sashimi which was priced at $11 and came up as $2 max thin and shaggy slice) perilla leaves was the highlight lol. Noodles was decent texture wise. I wasn’t impressed with the flavor. Very rich and clammy but full of clam freshness (it was a clam and scallion something noodles that we got almost in a carbonara style) The toro taco was GREAT! Never had it in this style (or maybe I don’t have non traditional Japanese/Japanese fusion often). The what-I-believe-is tempura battered fried seaweed for mini taco hard shell was a genius idea and tasted so refreshing yet satisfyingly, meltingly, and subtly crunchy complimenting the fatty, pillowy, and well seasoned toro. All apps are also great! Mushroom salad was a bit salty but cucumber salad was great. So was the tempura. Asparagus could v taken more help from the prep cook to leave only the tender parts lol. The interior is beautifully set and furnished tho. Giving off a rich culture/history deco in details. Will give the credits there!

It was my first time and it wasn't very pleasant until it was time to pay the online service payment not working that he restaurant is on a sunterraneo floor I had to go out street to look for an atm they must improve that situation thank you

Service was very good until the end when nobody came to clear our table for 15-20 min.

This was an unexpected surprise. We had been planning to go to a different restaurant that ended up being closed. We looked in OT at what was close and essentially walked in. Being Sunday night they were able to accommodate us right away. Very cool ambience. It was dead on Sunday, but could see on other nights this place hopping. What stood out was the food. I’ve had sushi/Japanese many times over the years including some well known branded establishments but this was hands down best Japanese I’ve ever had. Service was spotty (Sunday) and prices were eye popping. But I’d highly recommend.

We had two nontraditional Japanese menu items that were delicious. The sweet potato chips and the artichoke. Then we had our usual sashimi and a roll, which were top shelf. There’s a good wine list, though bottles are on the more expensive side. Nice interesting array of cocktails as well. And Champagne.
