Our experience was overall very good. We were celebrating our anniversary and had asked for a private booth or table and were stuck in the back corner. Hostess said they were booked full, but we seen plenty of other possibilities. Will try again maybe with a better table.

My wife and I were attending the symphony and I searched for a restaurant near the Woodruff Center. We had never dined at Saints & Council, but the reviews and menu looked very appealing to us. Unfortunately, we arrived a little late, not the restaurants fault. So we were seated at corner table. Our server John was EXTREMELY attentive and professional, he offered us suggestions and was accurate regarding portion sizes. We chose to go with some shareable plates and cocktails before the show. We each had a cup of the crab bisque, shared the stuffed oysters, arancini, and scallops. Drinks were well made and delicious. The service was PERFECT, food arrived hot and timely, John was attentive, but not hovering. The crab bisque was rich and flavorful, filled with crab meat, I could have made this my main meal, it was that delicious. Next were the stuffed oysters presenting us with another extremely tasteful delight. The plate contained 6 medium sized oysters, stuffed with cheese and spinach, another appetizer that I would have enjoyed as a main dish. The arancini was a big portion and well made, on par with other established restaurants we have dined at. We shared a main of scallops, after the appetizers (shareable plates) we were fine with three scallops to share. The scallops were perfectly seared, cooked evenly and absolutely fresh, they came on a bed of couscous and a basil puree, (think thick pesto), and the flavors complimented well. Food, Service, and Decor were amazing. We will definitely be returning, but now that we have been there, I will know to ask for a table in the main area and not in a corner. The corner spot echoed conversations, and unfortunately the 6 top table next to us was filled with an apparent ladies night out. They were enjoying their chardonnay and were very loud. Not really anything the restaurant can do, but that is why I gave 3 stars for ambiance. Once again, the food and service were amazing!

Customer service was decent. Staff was nice. The atmosphere was decent. But the food quality was horrible.

Lemon miso salmon is unmatched!!! Brunch is amazing as well!! I tell everyone about this place!!

We went there specifically because they listed a vegan burger as a menu item & my husband is vegan. When we ordered, we were told it was no longer available. He had very few choices since the arancini comes with a tomato sauce made with chicken stock. ??? I’m Italian & I’ve never used chicken stock in tomato sauce! I truly don’t understand restaurants not having enough vegetarian/vegan options. The staff was very apologetic & tried to accommodate the best they could. Overall, a very nice restaurant with great service & a nice vibe.
