Le Sage Room, situé dans l'établissement Harvey's, est l'un des lieux incontournables de Tahoe depuis son ouverture en 1947. Ce steakhouse élégant décoré sur le thème du Far-West est apprécié des habitants du quartier comme des touristes de passage. Le Sage Room comporte notamment des lampes amérindiennes offertes au Harvey's par la tribu Washoe, un bar d'origine ainsi que des poutres taillées à la main qui faisaient autrefois partie de la cabane en rondins qu'occupait le Harvey's en 1944. Ce restaurant propose une sélection de salades et d'amuse-gueules uniques préparés à table ainsi que des steaks de Black Angus, des plats de volaille, du veau, de l'agneau, du bœuf Wellington et des fruits de mer. Vous pourrez également y déguster des desserts tels que des bananes flambées et des cerises jubilées préparés à votre table.

Great experience, table for two by the window overlooking Lake Tahoe. Server Alicia was wonderful and our food was outstanding, my husband and I split the 18ounce bone-in ribeye it was juicy and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

The wagyu beef came out cold and chewy ordered medium rare. The blackened fish was a little over seasoned and the blacked rub was quite raw on the fish. The ambiance and service was great! Maybe the last reservation of the night was a bad idea

A great first-time meal at the Sage Room. We were seated promptly and in a prime spot with windows on two sides of our table providing fantastic views of the Lake. My filet was tender and cooked perfectly; her bone-in pork chop was also tender and moist. Truffle ravioli was a great starter, with just a hint of truffle, and the broccolini side was tender and delicious. Her cocktail was well-made and not overpowering, enabling the mixers to shine through. My glass of red wine was generous in volume and poured with a flourish. Prices were commensurate for the quality of the meal, the views over the Lake, and the dedication of the staff. Overall, expensive, but a very good value for a special occasion. All the staff were great, however, Teddy, our waiter, was outstanding and deserves special mention. He was attentive without being intrusive and superbly described the off-menu items. A true professional.

Service was not the best and the food was ok.. The risotto tasted like it was undercooked and a couple of my scallops were a little cold in the center but other than that, the lobster escargot was amazing. The dessert was phenomenal.

Been loyal customers for decades. Menu changed since we were last here in Feb 2024, eliminating our favorite dishes: table side Caesar salad and table side Steak Diane. Some genius removed what differentiated Sage Room from other Tahoe steak houses, and now they’ve lost our loyalty. The steaks we had were good, the asparagus side was bland. Banoffee Pie was very good. But we’ll probably try Fridays across the street next time.

Go here for view and steak. Fancy restaurant but food does not live up to prices or ambiance. Servers very nice and doing their best but not trained for what you would expect for the price point but it’s a tourist spot so was pretty much as expected. Bartenders great and tasty cocktails.

Million dollar views make this an amazing place to dine, but I always have to remind myself that it is located in a casino.... so set expectations on food accordingly.
