Le Sage Room, situé dans l'établissement Harvey's, est l'un des lieux incontournables de Tahoe depuis son ouverture en 1947. Ce steakhouse élégant décoré sur le thème du Far-West est apprécié des habitants du quartier comme des touristes de passage. Le Sage Room comporte notamment des lampes amérindiennes offertes au Harvey's par la tribu Washoe, un bar d'origine ainsi que des poutres taillées à la main qui faisaient autrefois partie de la cabane en rondins qu'occupait le Harvey's en 1944. Ce restaurant propose une sélection de salades et d'amuse-gueules uniques préparés à table ainsi que des steaks de Black Angus, des plats de volaille, du veau, de l'agneau, du bœuf Wellington et des fruits de mer. Vous pourrez également y déguster des desserts tels que des bananes flambées et des cerises jubilées préparés à votre table.

While our servers were excellent, the food was some of the worst we have ever had at very high prices.

It was horrible experience which ruined our new year eve. Service was great and very friendly people , but chef should be fired, I never had more disgusting Cesar salad which doesn’t even look like anything even close to Cesar salad . And how chef can ruined the steak it’s was so much pepper and dry , even though we asked for medium, restaurant wasn’t full and it was pre fix menu which I wasn’t fine if it from the minute I walked in. In advance I try to call many times to find out if it will be different menu but unfortunately it’s impossible to get through, even direct number transfer you to some overseas operator who barely speaking English. Over all it was a worst experience and most disgusting food that I really regret that I spend $400, and usually we dine in very hi end restaurant and don’t mind to post top price

I used to love this place it’s definitely gone down hill. It’s the holidays and they had no decor, our table didn’t even have a candle or flour. It was my hubby’s bday and the said nothing, my husband ordered a cocktail that should have been served table side and the waiter prepared it behind my husbands back. We ordered soup and it was served as if we were at an IHOP the dishes didn’t match and they placed saltine crackers. Our bread was undercooked (how do you mess that up?). I asked 3-4 times for water and silverware. I was SHOCKED! I did enjoy the waygu but for 105.00 it would have been nice to enjoy something else with it. Our asparagus were cold and drizzled with breadcrumbs that tasted raw. I was served an espresso martini that was dripping and my glass was sticky. I used my water and napkin to clean the glass and asked repeatedly for a replacement. My husbands first steak came out well done the waiter walked away then came back and said oh yeah that looks overcooked. Then they brought another steak and it was so rare that he couldn’t eat it. Again I am shocked. The waiter did nothing to at least try to create an experience despite the food issues. Then when I gently reminded him it was my husbands birthday he said well I can bring some ice cream as if my husband was a child. I politely declined but I can’t believe how bad everything was.

Menu was very nice. Had a table next to the window in the lounge. Bill is masterfull behind the bar. Jericho did a great job describing the specials. Thank you gentlemen for a great experience.

First time at Sage and it didn’t disappoint. Crab cakes for appetizer were great, corn purée was just ok. Filet mignon and scallops were cooked perfectly. Alcoholic drinks were nice and strong, they definitely don’t short you on alcohol. Hal provided excellent service. Highly recommend Sage, it is a little pricey but we thought it was worth it.

It’s very difficult to communicate with this restaurant! (!) It took three days to modify my reservation Food was very good Service was very good They really need to change the way they communicate with their customers before their reservation, literally, no one answers the phone

This was our second time going. As always they exceed our expectations! Food and service phenomenal. I recommend this to any couple looking for great food, service, and a quiet place for a romantic dinner. Very fine dining. I recommend this over the other big name restaurants in the hotel.
