Le Sage Room, situé dans l'établissement Harvey's, est l'un des lieux incontournables de Tahoe depuis son ouverture en 1947. Ce steakhouse élégant décoré sur le thème du Far-West est apprécié des habitants du quartier comme des touristes de passage. Le Sage Room comporte notamment des lampes amérindiennes offertes au Harvey's par la tribu Washoe, un bar d'origine ainsi que des poutres taillées à la main qui faisaient autrefois partie de la cabane en rondins qu'occupait le Harvey's en 1944. Ce restaurant propose une sélection de salades et d'amuse-gueules uniques préparés à table ainsi que des steaks de Black Angus, des plats de volaille, du veau, de l'agneau, du bœuf Wellington et des fruits de mer. Vous pourrez également y déguster des desserts tels que des bananes flambées et des cerises jubilées préparés à votre table.

Very beautiful restaurant. The views are incredible. The food prices were a little much. A steak with a single carrot wasn’t worth the &75. The service was excellent and attentive.

Rachel is amazing........personal, professional, welcoming. Would hire her in an instant. Anthony is an excellent server........knowledgeable, attentive, never misses a beat. Sad to see chair and/or table damage to walls not repaired. Also sad to see table service carts are gone. New chef might benefit from the value of Sage Room's history. All this said, understandable that decades of tradition may not last forever, however Caesar Salad made table-side will never match what is made in the kitchen. Nice job done by all. We will definitely return, as we have done since 1957. Thank you for yet another wonderful birthday celebration.

Outstanding service. We have been here many times and every time the service is wonderful, the food is always great and the views, ambience and cleanliness is second to none. Every time we come to the Lake and have friends with us, We always bring them here because we can be sure it will be a great experience for them.

New chef reduced tablesdide service massively!! And for a steak house there was only 5 or so options. This place has lost the romance it once had. The wine list was also both weird and overpriced. Been going for 20 years but sadly won’t return

The crab cake was the best I’ve ever had full of crab chunks. The butternut squash bisque was creamy and delicious. The filet mignon was perfect and the sides of potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach were perfect. It’s a must do on each of our trips. The only thing that would have made it perfect was not having to listen to the conversation of the table next to us. We’ll be back!

We have never been disappointed in our meals or experience at Sage!!! It is the BEST! The servers are outstanding and go above and beyond expectations and the views at sunset are spectacular

Expensive for what it is. Good but not great or worth the cost, unfortunately I won’t return.

We had a delicious meal with excellent service provided by Jeremy. The special Hokkaido scallops escargot style were divine. Ambiance is romantic, and views are beautiful even in bad weather. Loved watching them prepare desserts table side. Best martini in town.
