Been coming to Sage for many years and was appreciative that it was all vegan. I love their Cali avocado tempeh “burger. Very disappointed that they can’t make good fries, though. They are soggy and tasteless. Server confirmed this is how they usually are.

Pokey, things took really long to get to us, and I had to get up to ask a couple of times to ask specific things. It wasn't clear as to what the issue was, but our server kept disappearing for longer periods of time and what should have been a cute hour and a bit brunch took about 3 hours when we had somewhere to go. We weren't asking for the sun and stars, we were asking for brunch to be served in a timely manner.

We were seated in a very crowded corner though a lot of tables were available and since the party next to us was a larger group there for a birthday party it was very loud Also it’s was so hot and AC in this area was very weak We had the delicious food while sweating! The service was very good but twice someone tried to deliver someone else’s pizza order to us Finding the place was somewhat of a maze due to construction and we were also told on the phone there was validation for parking and then turns out we parked in the only lot that they didn’t give validation for ~ Bathroom also outside where you need code like at a fast food place or something - hot and musty in there too Was a mixed experience for sure - Will come back to explore the cute shopping area though for sure

The food at this place has changed dramatically. It used to be vegan restaurant with delicious food. In a casual atmosphere. Had read in the newspaper that they decided to depart from that format, so when visiting this time was curious as to what it meant. Instead of a vegan restaurant, now it’s just another meat centered place with a few vegan or vegetarian options. And now everything is ala carte. Instead of, for example a dish including beans, fries or such, you have to get them separately. Furthermore, this place was very adept as using spices to enhance their dishes, now that’s been pretty much replaced by heat. The last time eating there, we noticed a drop off in quality, but thought perhaps it was a bad night and not a trend. Looks like we were wrong. Too bad really, truly nice places are not the rule but the exception. But the casual atmosphere remains, along with the good wait staff.

We've always loved Sage. But with the new introduction of meat stuff which we don't and won't eat, we noticed that the porch on a nice Sat night was almost empty. Usually on a Sat night, it's packed! Also, they took off some of our favorites like the "Bowl of Soul" and the pesto pizza with vegan sausage. Now, if I want that pizza, I have to go for Bison sausage which I won't. It's fine to offer the Bison sausage, but why not also offer the vegan option as well? It seems they're trying to force you into "trying" new things like Bison because they think it's "healthier." Well, that's for us to decide. And, unfortunately, unless things change, we won't be deciding to go to Sage as often. We love the porch and have always liked the vibe and the service (Angelique was great!), but we were somewhat disappointed.

Cute place. Glad the menu had gluten-free options on it. I found the food itself to be OK, however, I think that proportion sizes were just plain huge, which is not actually attractive. The service was a little off, our waiter forgot a few items, but nothing ridiculous. He was certainly pleasant. Well, perhaps true of most restaurants today I just didn’t feel there was value in the amount of money we paid for four people to have lunch.
