   Last night was my second time dining at Salt & Sage in less than two weeks! Both my experiences were phenomenal! The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, the ambience is wonderful in both locations and the jazz music last night on the raw bar side was an added bonus! Highly recommend and will be a frequent returning customer! Five stars all around!

   Wonderful food and service. This is a unique upscale experience with a welcoming atmosphere. Our meals were perfect and we will definitely be back!

   The menu was changed out when we had arrived. I ordered the Salmon which sounded so yummy. Received my food & I noticed no tomatoes or okra as it stated on the menu. I asked, where is the okra, etc they gave me the wrong menu to order from. No sure what was with the salmon but something square shaped & not cooked done. Needless to say I left hungry. At least they didn’t charge us for it.

   The menu offers a variety of choices with complex combinations of flavors. Each of us were very pleased with our orders, which were expertly served. Serving sizes were larger than expected, which is good to know for our next visit. We earmarked this restaurant for our special occasion meals going forward!

   Food was excellent - hot, prepared and presented well - with lovely combinations of flavors to delight the palette. Definitely will return based on food. The location of our table felt like we were in an OR - while other lighting was subdued, the light above our tiny table was exceptionally bright. Felt like a spotlight in the middle of the main room. Very tight between tables. Service was very rushed - no lingering. Impressively magical to a fault actually. Ordered and food was on table in five minutes. For a meal that we thought would be at least 1.5 hours, were were handed the bill within 50 minutes of sitting down. If you want a great meal, quick in and out - go here! We were there for a special occasion which was noted on the reservation, however zero mention of it from the staff nor inquiry. Will return to eat outside when the weather warms up - more space and more tables, more revenue and hopefully more relaxed.

   Our excellent server Jayden B made this first time dining experience at Sage & Salt an incredible one! We came in to celebrate a birthday! Jayden was very welcoming & polite and very respectful of our girl time! He gave us much guidance on the menu and his recommendations were spot on! The crab dip was the best I’ve ever had in NC as well as the scallop entree. To top the night off Sage & Salt treated the birthday girl with best chocolate cake ever! There were no complaints to be had and we will definitely return in the near future!!

   Delicious food. Beef tartare was amazing. Ribeye and scallops were great. No complaints. Would come back again.
