Amazing place with a great staff. The highlight was the food and I must tell you that this is the best bar food I've had in Sydney.

Great decor but the tables are too close together. It got very noisy at one stage sitting very close to others, it was claustrophobic and you couldn't hear your own conversation. After moving to a different table with more space it was much better.

Disappointed in the service and lack of attention. We had to keep asking for rounds of drinks and to order food throughout the night. If we hadn’t of asked for service we may have been forgotten. Toilets were not overly clean… towel baskets overflowing. Receipt not reflective of price we paid, we paid 2 surcharges. Not as good as our first experience.

My partner celebrated our anniversary together with dinner & drinks. The service of the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was such a vibe to be in! We don’t drink alcohol so we tried to Mocktails and they were flavourful and presented well! I highly recommend the Curry dish! It’s definitely one to try! We highly recommend and will be back!

The outside entry to Saga Bar was the perfect taste of what we were about to experience when entering. This place is so enchanting for its immersive and unique timber decor and warmly lit ambience. Staff were attentive and helpful to accommodate our group of 4 at the bar even when they were already booked out. They helped us cloak out bulky winter jackets so we could properly enjoy the dinner experience. Loved the edm music in the background, which may not be for everyone but we are totally into that vibe (heard Fred Again and Hayden James etc). All the food we ordered was the best we ever had of lamb chops (so tasty, juicy and tender), the salmon (fresh and spicy) and the pork bao (softest bao buns ever and crispy pork). Drinks were great too, and we were pleasantly surprised to find many (a whole page!) non-alcoholic options. We will definitely be back and hope this secret little hole in the wall stays semi-secret so we can easily book a table again!

Food and ambience was amazing!!! We had a fabulous night!!! Definitely going back to try the cocktails and more of the delicious food on the menu

My wife ordered the lamb chops but when they came to the table they were under cooked and was sent back, my food came out about 5 minutes later as I finished my food my wife’s food came out again, would of been nice if we could’ve eaten together, wait staff seemed to be more interested in the cocktails that the bar staff were making, had to call staff to the table to get any service. Very disappointed with the overall experience.
