Saffron Urban Indian Kitchen is a concept Chef Diwesh has been dreaming and planning about for over a decade. His goal was/is to create a space that is inviting, calming & an ambience that compliments his food. We are a "contemporary casual dinning" with a passion for everything hopsitality. Chef Diwesh takes pride in what he serves and his team is equally passionate and dedicated to ensure to match rest of the experience with the amazing food.

While you can find familiar dishes in the main menu, Chef is particular about the ingredients and the overall quality of the food. He is also dedicated to a monthly tasting menu that will be served in the Chef's Table (by rservation only: will be activated early spring).

This is our favorite spot in Omaha thus far! Coming from Georgia, we were not expecting Indian food in town to be THIS good. We loved everything about this including the prices!!

Salmon bhuna is a must!! So delicious. We had a great meal for a birthday celebration.

I’ve eaten here twice. Not a lot of people either time. Service is okay. Food is okay, not great. I don’t know that I’ll be back.

We visited for the first time on Father's Day. Everything was fantastic. Our server was amazing. I would definitely go back. Happy Hour specials are a good reason to go in the afternoon.

The food was wonderful full of flavor and delightful. Our server was wonderful, she was attentive even though they were very busy. I highly recommend Saffron, just wonderful!

I recommend this restaurant 100%. The food we had at Saffron was the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten in the states or London. We ordered beef samosas, naan, spinach paneer and lamb vindaloo. I always get a mango lassi, and Saffron’s was so fresh and homemade and served in a cute clay pot. Certainly justified the price for it. Service was excellent and our waitress was very welcoming and friendly. Beautiful restaurant and decor. I’m looking forward to returning (soon)!

First visit to Saffron, beautiful day for a seat on the patio. Cocktails were excellent, try the house old fashioned! We had a naan/cheese/spinach appetizer which was really good, and all our meals were excellent. The biryani was the best I’ve had, will definitely be going back - even if it is big enough to feed a family all by itself. Highly recommend you try Saffron out.

Food was great but the past three times we have been the service has been absolutely terrible. Really sad because it used to be amazing all around but because of service we will no longer be returning.

With the great reviews, I had high expectations. The food simply wasn’t as flavorful oth chicken dishes were dry. Food felt very Americanized. On the good side was good cocktails and service.
