Sadler's Ordinary has been an institution in Marlborough for decades, serving top quality local seafood and ingredients, comfort food, and Fine New England Cuisine. Set in a colonial style building, our cozy dining rooms feature two fireplaces and we offer outdoor dining on a beautiful stone patio during the summer and fall. All of our food is made from scratch in-house, including our delicious desserts and bakery items. We are open for indoor and patio dining, as well as take out every day.

Wonderful . Delicious . Happy . Intimate ( Kevin came over to our table ) We held our Book Club again and love having it here as long as we can be outside !

We had a great experience at the restaurant. I’m glad we made reservations. The parking lot was packed and so was the restaurant! We were there celebrating a 75th birthday. The food was excellent .

We have eaten at Sadlers many times in the past and returned expecting the same quality and service. The food was good but not as good as we remembered it in the past. We booked through Open Table and requested outdoor seating. When we arrived we asked to be seated in a particular area but was told we could not sit there. We were sat right at the entrance next to the service area. Then we waited while others were seated in the area we requested and waited on while no one had even come to acknowledge us. I spoke to a waitress who was very defensive saying they were busy and had a new server on that night but said rudely "I'm not even your waitress but I'll wait on you". I had also noted in my reservation that it was a special occasion but that was never acknowledged. The experience ended up being okay and we may try eating there again but its no longer top on my list. They did have music and the musicians were the most hospitable of all, coming over to see if the music was too loud and spending time chatting with us which was delightful

The menu was terrific, as usual. There was a wide selection of dishes, all perfectly done, based on multiple trips. The specials were not overpriced, like they are in many places. The patio space was comfortable, and not cramped, as many are. Having Kevin stop by was a treat.

Great food and a very nice server. Sat outside for lunch and everything was grand. Food was very good and served promptly without rushing. Will go back.

Escargot and shrimp pasta were fantastic. Best whote sangria w fruit. Chicken pot pie was tasty. I would love carrots cut smaller and a bottom crust otherwise it was tasty. Bought 5 cookies on a saturday night and they were quite tasty. The blueberry square was ok. Cookies were better.

So many delicious choices! Always consistently good and excellent service. Really enjoyed our night. Met up with friends I haven't seen in years and they gave us time and space to reminisce yet was attentive.

Outstanding service! The food is consistently excellent! My only observation is that the noise level can be extremely high because of small, quaint rooms when it’s really busy. If you’re sensitive to noise, book at non peak times. Also, the chairs fit the decor but may be uncomfortable for persons with physical challenges or elderly guests. Bring a cushion because the food and the service are the best in the area. You’ll love it!
