Great plantains, and the meats (chicken, steak, and pork) were tender. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Great food and the one bartender did his best - apparently high sick day for everyone else . Which was unfortunate bc food was great

The food was delicious, but the overall experience was lacking. Our party had a 5:15 reservation for 7 people, but they miswrote it on a post-it note that it was a 7:15 reservation for 5. We were seated in a dark corner and largely ignored. They were unprepared for a large group, and only had one server for the entire restaurant. Our appetizers took an hour to arrive, and then we were rushed to eat them because our entrees were ready and they couldn't keep them in the kitchen. Our server literally stood over us holding plates as we scarfed down appetizers to make room on the table for more dishes. The food itself was excellent, but we couldn't enjoy most of it because we were rushed out of the restaurant to accommodate another group. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would maybe recommend this place to a group of 2-3 on a less busy evening, but I will not be going back.

Perfect evening to celebrate a special day. Anybody who hasn't been there is missing something special. Best restaurant in Bay View

We waited in front to be helped for a while. A lady finally acknowledged us and told us the seating area available then walked away. We were not escorted to our seats so we didn't know to wait to be escorted or go on our own as it was not made clear on what to do. The food wasn't good and it was overcooked. The only reason I didn't give 0 stars is because the server was nice. I will never go back.

Good food with menu that is not the regular milwaukee fare. Service was fine, a little understaffed. Good drinks. The place lacked warmth, with the large windows and a low thermostat setting people were dining in coats. We will be back in the warmer weather.

Service was impeccable and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. It’s very clean in there. The food was good. We had to tostones rellenos, pizza empanadillas, ropa vieja and pernil. The meats were seasoned wonderfully however the rice is not what expected. It tasted like minute rice and did not really boast any of the traditional pr rice flavors. I would opt for rice and habicuelas when I return.

Worst restaurant experience I have had. Waited an hour and 15 minutes just to get water. One of my group had to wait an hour and a half. Then after that half of the tables food came out, we had no silverware and food became cold. Then the other half of the tables food came and was still missing one plate. Will never go back. Food wasn’t good and service terrible. Will never recommend, ever.

I can't believe I have not yet been to this place! It was outstanding. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the sampler appetizer. Our server was absolutely perfectly wonderful. Our group was just so impressed with her.
