Sabai Thai, located in midtown Manhattan, opened in 2018. The restaurant's menu serves traditional Thai dishes, showcasing the intricacy, complexity, and richness of the country's cuisine. The Thai term 'sabai' means 'relaxed', and this is evident in the ambiance and the beautiful 2,300-square-feet space.

At Sabai Thai, the safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. All guests will have their temperature taken upon arriving at the restaurant. One member of each party will be required to provide personal information for contact tracing. Guests are encouraged to wear a mask when entering and leaving the restaurant, accessing the restroom, and respecting six-feet social distancing.

Sabai Thai only of accepts a maximum of 5 people per table, both indoor and outdoor. For reservations, we offer a 10

My husband I had a wonderful time. We celebrated our six year anniversary with Sabai and they did not disappoint. They welcome us by wishing us a happy anniversary and even wrote us a card from all of the employees. They also gave us a complimentary glass of champagne. The food, ambiance and service were all excellent. We could not have asked for a better experience. We both thank you, and can’t wait to come back again.

Great food, great ambiance, awful restroom situation. Had to line up for 15-20 mins at a stretch to use the one single restroom.

The restaurant was packed that night. Busy and noise. We enjoyed. The downside of all was the toilet (one facility for all) and the service itself: it was very attentive on the beginning of the night and then dropped by the end with signs of rudeness. Overall, the food quality and taste should save them from all this but I thought to share it.

Very delicious food. Clean and beautiful interior. Staff were kind. It was very quiet, but as I visited at around 2 pm on Sunday, I am not sure how busy time would be. I quite enjoyed having lunch here, and I will definitively visit again.

Definitely on the pricey side. The pad khi mao and sea bass were excellent. The mango sticky rice felt heavily overpriced but I still recommend as it’s delicious! Make a reservation; it’s crowded.

Book Sabai Thai for a little birthday celebration for my siblings. When we arrived the had a birthday balloon and birthday card (signed by all the staff) on the table which was a really nice gesture. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was authentic and delicious. Prices were reasonably ranged.
